Excellent series for all boaters as well as kayakers - although it certainly makes the BC coast look dangerous! Fogbound and stormy with furious tidal currents and giant ferries everywhere. I still want to go there, though.
studies showed that paddlers aren't visible on radar, also with radarreflectors. This because the sensitivity is too low. We do go up in the waves. Reflectors should be higher than 1,5-2m above the sea.
which make and model of vhf radio do you recommend for a guide to carry that is able to fit in a PFD and has good range? Thanks. This 3 part series is awesome!!
