Love this stick! IST ate with this bad boy! I want to install a Fujin III in it, but I'm scared. That thing will have you feeling like you've been using a dumbbell all day.
Okay fair warning about the Fujin V3, I've heard some things from my friends saying the tension is very stiff. They have complained about wrist issues for a long time so be careful if you switch. I almost was going to get that lever until I heard that so just a heads up!
Right! It's a Myoungshin Fanta on steroids! The elusive Sanjuks V6 is just as tight as the Fujin V3-- if not, tighter. But the weird thing is, I don't have any issues nor feel any fatigue after using it for hours.
I loved your arcade stick!, especially the gap between the stick and the button layout. I have tried to find something similar, but in the end I ended up modding my OG Razer Panthera to put a Taeyoung Fanta lever in it. I'll never go back to a Sanwa lever. What I would change to my lever is the tension groomet, which is medium by default (35A I guess), to a harder one. Someday I will build an arcade stick of my dreams with that gap lol. Nice video!.
I agree 100%! I wanted a Japanese stick for Street Fighter but most do not have the Vewlix layout. The Qanba Titan is due to come out sometime this year but I don't know if I can commit. I have heard the Taeyoung levers are pretty loose which would probably affect my execution so it's gonna be a no from me lol. But hopefully one day you do get that perfect stick build!
You should definitely try the golden Fanta Athena, the way I have mine setup now is I went down in tension to a customized 40A silicone with dual tension design with harder cardinal directions and and softer diagonals. Awesome stick btw!!
I might have to go up in tension just because it’s what I’m used to. I was told those levers are really great. Thinking about it I would really need my switches to have softer diagonals because when I first got my Myoungshin that was my biggest gripe with the lever. Suddenly I am very very interested in the Fanta and might have to add it to my list 🤔
@@Athena4Lyfe The switches are Omron A6’s , which are incredibly soft which make it so you don’t have to apply as much force to get a movement. Definitely would work great for your longer fingers xD.
Oh yeah you definitely have to stick with this brand for me I am with Qanba. People who are looking for fightsticks which ever suits them have to stick with the brand. I like this video cause give a glimpse of your personality gameplay.
Thank you! Have you seen the new Qanba sticks that have been released? I was looking into the Qanba Titan but I really really like the Q8 because it's so pretty and the LED buttons make for the stick to really look extra cool. IST Mall just came out with a stick with the Knee Lever that I've had my eyes on. And eventually, I do think I'll get another stick just because I'd want to lol
@@Athena4Lyfe I got the q8 and its pc and android only. You can mod of course its a good stick. but if you want to get a new qanba wait for the obsidian 2 I think that stick would be better.
Very nice review. Kinda late answer lol but that layout isnt vewlix since it curves too much to the upp right corner. But what doea that matter lol keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍
Hey! We share the same model minus the PCB as im still using the old PS3 pcb that came with it. I LOVE MY MAKESTICK SO MUCH THAT I CANT EVEN USE OTHER STICKS AS WELL. I do hate the stock fanta that it came with so i replaced it with a 309mj full collar modded with st 45 white core for stiff tension. The buttons that im using are the punk workshop buttons - these are mechanical buttons with silent linear switches which sounds very muted (basically budget gamer fingers). I got my makestick for local 2nd hand for $65 equivalent so it was definitely a steal way back 2022. i can share tips as well as ive already replaced the artwork and if u need the psd i can send it to you as well hehe. as for the button layout, this is not a viewlix this is more on the old korean arcade layout which i absolutely adore and i CANNOT live without it as it is perfect for my cats (i play tekken btw hehe). So yeah, thanks so much for loving this stick of ours!
One question so I watched a video of someone removing a make stick arcade stick which was the prime but he said basically how on regular arcade sticks it would be the first 2 buttons horizontally would be X AND Y or (square and triangle for PlayStation) but on his vid he was saying how buttons are not the same like RB is at the end end but it’s usually the. 3rd horizontal button not the 4th and so on. I just wanted to ask if it’s really a thing for the pro makestick? I also want to purchase this stick because it’s a nice stick but I dont really play 3D fighters like tekken would it be best to have the Korean lever chosen over the Sanwa JLF?
I have a quick question and it's kind of serious Did you have to assemble it yourself the whole arcade stick when it was sent to you Cause I'm thinking of ordering one and I don't want to assemble it because I would probably have trouble with it Especially with the wiring.
No you don’t it will come as displayed. I personally wanted to mod the stick myself because it’s a pretty old fightstick so I just upgraded it. No assembly needed.

Yeah, the only thing it does not entirely work on is PS5, and what I mean by that is full support. Some games do that support Legacy controllers but some games it does work. All in all this fightstick is perfect for me.
