How to make Arduino speak through your smartphone? 1Sheeld Text To Speech Shield Tutorial

- 1Sheeld is a mobile app and a board that turns your smartphone into an open platform for Arduino.
In this case you can use your smartphone as a text to speech Arduino shield.
The idea basically is to make your smart phone act as an input/output to the Arduino, so you can use the touch screen of your smartphone as an LCD, or make the phone an Arduino controller starting with simple push buttons, keypad, or keyboard or voice recognition!
Or use it as an output from Arduino like logging data on it, or converting text to speech or use it as a music player.
So basically whatever your phone does, you can link it to Arduino, think about Facebook, Twitter, Skype (Yes you can stream a video call!), touch screen, music player, GPS sensor, Gyroscope sensor and much more!

Hey Ahmet, 1Sheeld is supporting all the characters included in the ASCII code table: www.asciitable.com/, so all you need to do is to turn your smartphone language to Turkish from the smartphone settings and when you are adding the text to your code, make sure that it follows the ASCII Code Table standard.

Hi Haya, unfortunately, it can only speak the languages covered in the ASCI code table which has only Latin alphabets.
We have in our plan to make special libraries for each language to cover them aside to the ASCI code but we didn't set a releasing date yet.
