Thank you for making these videos! There's much to learn and you are generous to share what you know. It's astounding that the Dior and the Yazzie necklace go for the same price! The Dior is made with a pot-metal chain and fake pearl beads, and the Yazzie piece is solid sterling silver with MOP and turquoise and COMPLETELY crafted by hand in a traditional craft handed down by their ancestors. Without the Dior mark, that necklace would be considered cheap junk jewelry. I'm astounded that people put that much importance in a cheap piece of jewelry simply because it's a "designer" piece. The micro-mosaic necklace is stunning! Congrats on your sale!
Thank you so much for these and Congratulations on the necklace sale Kat!!! Have fun at the beach. I lived in N. Redington Beach for 6 yrs. Blessings, K.T.
Fantastic sale :) I've gone down the Jakob Bengel jewelry rabbit hole, gah I love that art deco look, and would never think it was anything special when I saw it. Thank you for sharing the lovelies.
Kat this was a GREAT video and learned so much. I cannot wait until I go sourcing at my thrift store. I know I have some amber already in my huge jewelry box. Thanks so much for your videos.
A word about testing for Bakelite while you are in the store: I tried using the Simechrome. I was invited to leave the store immediately. It has some hazardous chemicals in it, so I do not recommend this method. I would also not use the Formula 409 method for the same reason. When you are testing in a public area I would stick to briskly rubbing the item to see if it gives off the smell of formaldehyde. Happy thrifting. 😊
I have two Navajo sterling silver turquoise rings one is marked the other isnt. Another reseller who deals in silver said it maybe too old to have required the sterling marks. But neither is signed. The prices are all over the place on ones listed and sold similar. great video thanks.
Some really beautiful necklaces. Loved your the best. Congrats on a great sale.🫶🏻🤗

Would you recommend showing the weight of all necklaces and brooches?
Not unless they're silver or gold
Is it bake lite or baka lite?
Does Semichrome damage the bake-a-lite?
No it doesn't

@TheNurseFlipper oooh be safe I know you were a great nurse .
Are perfume bottles in demand or valuable? I have about 50 that were my moms.
Fancy art glass ones do well but regular ones and clear glass are over Saturated
