This is exactly how you kill racism. By loving, mentoring, coaching, or adopting children that are different from you. Children in the system need love all the same.
@Ang Accounts some of yaw will forever remain miserable in a system thats made you cynical. The kids are alright lets not be another generation the perpetuates racism to the next generation. We can end it here. With what shes doing. It doesnt solve everything but ITS A START.
Thank you so much for sharing on this special day. You can see it in their eyes We Belong Together. No if ands or buts these children are a blessing to her is she is a blessing to them. And so it goes their life begins. I would love to see this story in the melodrama that that goes with the incisive ridiculous and also the wise opinions for this to be made into a movie point of contention to the point of redemption
Remember when a Black British bride on her wedding day met a little White pre-school aged girl who thought the bride was a princess because of her beautiful white lacy dress. The lady picked her up and included her in the wedding pictures. Some people gave it thumbs down. Not enough hate for them, I guess.

Sorry, but I want him to see color. God created all the beautiful colors of the world, and he needs to grow up understanding the beauty of skin color. Children become wiser as they age, and I hope this mother teaches her son that we are all brothers and sisters through God. And to truly appreciate each other we must also acknowledge each other's ethnicity and culture.
Proof that families are made by love and not ethnicity or anything else. You have one of the most beautiful families I have ever seen. God bless you all.
Why am I crying? The fact that you took in siblings is amazing. I grew up in an abusive Household. as a child I didn’t want to report my parents or tell anyone what was going on because I was afraid I would be separated from my younger siblings. My siblings is how we got through everything and I can’t imagine how things would have been without them.

I'm 8 months pregnant and you have the nerve to have me crying like this!!! Congratulations on Eddie officially joining the Holden tribe. He is handsome and smart and blessed to be in your loving arms.
People need to stop with all the hate comments about her adopting white children. This woman is a hero who adopted two children that needed a home, and she a single mom. It's not about the color of the kids skin, it's about how two beautiful children will now grow up in a wonderful home that loves them for them. People need to stop seeing color of people's skin. It's not about the color, its about the love that people have for one another. This woman is a very amazing person, and a true hero.
Who in their right mind would dislike this? This woman is beautiful inside and out, with a heart of solid gold. She gave these kids a home and a family, and obviously loves them very much. They will grow up completely accepted, supported, and loved. Skin color is irrelevant. We are all human beings.
As a mother of 4, watching you introduce your son and the glow in your eyes brings tears because I know that look of love. A mother's love. Yours and your son's excitement for this day shows in both of your bubbly smiles. Love this. Many blessings to your family.

This means a lot to me I am white and Native adopted by Jamaican Americans I am 36 and still forget to tell people I am adopted 😂 many funny moments they outweigh the negative May you bless little man as much as my family blessed me! They never made me felt adopted I am their daughter. I'm not sure if you like country music There is a Garth Brooks song our family anthem we call it a line in it says 'Blood is thicker than water but love is thicker than blood' Sorry for my little ramble I was eight when I was adopted so I remember my adoption day it was the best day in my life at that point until I got married and had kids now it's the fourth best day of my life 😁

I agree with all what you said, but I believe ethnicity means nothing. You are the only mother he ever knew, and he is meant to be your son, and you are meant to be his mom.
I know it shouldn’t but sometimes it does to some kids and I think she is very well considerate to have thought about them babies having each other because after looking at stories of adopted kids in trans racial adopted homes, they often express the fact that they didn’t have anyone who look like them in the house which made things a bit difficult. So, I think it is very nice of her to have considered that. When it comes to caring for kids, we have to look at it holistically.
I must admit that I stumbled on your video in my suggestion video feed. Intrigued I watched it. This ma'am, this is how life should be lived. These two babies needed love, endless, bountiful love. You are so freely giving them just that. My heart is full because these children did not become a statistic but gained a future. You have a beautiful family! May God bless you and keep you in love. Thank you for being a beacon of hope, the ray of light in a dark day. Peace be with you.

True love is colour-blind, just raising children right is the most important thing. My family is black, white and mixed, there's no animus, just family.
Sometimes water can be thicker than blood as well. I'm estranged from my family, they have no interest in my children. It is my in laws that have been there for us. Life is strange like that.

I found your video responding to everyone’s negative comments. I put my responses there went to find your adoption stories. After watching both and seeing all the love and excitement, it makes me even more upset to see how people are treating y’all! Love is what matters and until people accept this and look for love instead of color, we are in trouble. God blessed all of you when he brought y’all together. Thank you for opening your heart to these two precious babies. I can’t wait to watch them grow through the videos. Thank you for sharing them with us.

I'm 51 and was adopted at 2. Met birth parents at 22. But with that meeting, my adoptive mom said to birth mom, "She's not mine or yours, she's OURS". I'm a better, loving person cause of these incredible people in my life.
I remember when we adopted my little sister. She is half Black half Korean and we had her since she was 3 days old. Straight out of the hospital. We didn’t get it official until she was 4. We went to the court house and had it officiated. She was just as excited as Edgar is in this video. Absolutely beautiful ❤️
This was so beautiful. Being a single mom is tough. I've done it. I've raised two boys and I couldn't imagine life without them. Being a foster mom is such an amazing thing to do. You're a super hero. 💜
I'm not sure how this video ended up in my recommended feed, but I am so glad it did. How anyone can give this a thumbs down or dislike this is beyond me. My dream is also to adopt a baby girl when im older. My family doesn't understand why i want it in my life. They say "why dont you make them" And i would like to be a biological mom one day, but ive always had this admiration for adoptive parents and i think giving a home to a little person who doesnt have a home...that's precious!
Did the judge gift him a stuffed animal? That's so cute! I imagine being a judge in family court is a very tough job, but moments like these must be absolutely magical.

I was so touched watching your son's adoption video. Lately, we live in a world full of conflict and division, and it feels good and right to see love in action! I'm wishing you and your children all of the happiness in the world!
I shared Holden it down with my best friend yesterday because we was talking about Foster care and how where we live people do it just for the money and kids are treated horrible. Our kids are let down in so many ways. I told her to watch these videos because it gives you inspiration that there is still good people left that do it for love and the right reasons. I honestly don't understand how someone can dislike this other than they have never went through any type of hardship in their own life so they can't possibly understand what an impact she has made on these two kids life.
This video popped up in my recommended videos. I have no idea why, until I watched. I truly believe God wanted me to watch this video. This beautiful adoption. I have always wanted to adopt. Exacly, skin color have nothing to do with human heart! ♥️ this lady will be amazing mother, she already is❤ God bless
@Theme Fresh I think they will always adore her, respect her and be protective of her.
Theme Fresh Why would her SON turn on her? He’ll be raised by BLACK PEOPLE like whites people, racist or otherwise. Where would he learn racist behavior against black people, his own family, culture, etc?
This woman is a saint ❤️❤️❤️God my heart just melts!! Please Jesus we NEED more people like THIS to live as living breathing examples for people to learn and walk in their path. My heart is exploding 😊
This is exactly how you kill racism. By loving, mentoring, coaching, or adopting children that are different from you. Children in the system need love all the same.
Whitney Caldwell-Johnson that's true sister doesn't matter our colour of skin the same love for black and for white
🤣 🤣 🤣 Com on... 🙄
Suuuuure😒
@Ang Accounts some of yaw will forever remain miserable in a system thats made you cynical. The kids are alright lets not be another generation the perpetuates racism to the next generation. We can end it here. With what shes doing. It doesnt solve everything but ITS A START.
Whitney Caldwell-Johnson amen ❤️ 🙏🏼
1.1K dislikes ? That’s some nonsense. This is such a beautiful thing & I am glad to be witnessing this 💕 get it mama.
TT’s Journee Well if she puts it out there people are allowed for the freedom of choice and speech
Janine Farris OH, WOW! WHAT A BRILLIANT IDEA! Yes!! I Just shouted that! ✌🏻☮️✝️💖💞
Remember when a Black British bride on her wedding day met a little White pre-school aged girl who thought the bride was a princess because of her beautiful white lacy dress. The lady picked her up and included her in the wedding pictures. Some people gave it thumbs down. Not enough hate for them, I guess.
@@LL-oe1tk She also just expressing her feelings towards all the negativity.
All that matters is that he has a family who loves him! Children don't see colour. Beautiful family. God bless xoxo
Shay States amen. That's one thing for sure. They do not see color n I'm so happy she stepped in. She's a great amazing mom and woman. Children are taught racism. It's not sumthn they jus know. Thank God HE delivered them jus n time😘😘😘
Sorry, but I want him to see color.
Allie S Exactly.
Shay States I agree! He seems well-loved! He is also adorable! I would have to cuddle and play with him nonstop, as he is so adorable.
Allie S Facts I was about to say this. I see colors and I love seeing them. It’s beautiful
It's so fun to see how tiny they were. I love watching them grow up.
Proof that families are made by love and not ethnicity or anything else. You have one of the most beautiful families I have ever seen. God bless you all.
Thank you so much
Genesis Mystic Tarot are you for real? is that even necessary?
Genesis Mystic Tarot do you foster and adopt black kids? If the answer is no remove your comment fool. Your ignorance is an embarrassment.
@Indigo Travel down right ignorant.
This woman gave these two kids a fighting chance. God Bless her the rest of her days. And may her children have the same spirit within themselves.
I wanna give you a big hug. You’re so strong! I was in a similar situation. I could never imagine hurting my baby boy the way my parents hurt me.
I love u
keep stayin strong!
I am so sorry. Blessings to you and your siblings. Lots of hugs and love to you. 😭❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why so many dislikes? The world needs more Kim and compassionate women like Kim. 👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
More Kim's less Karen's.
The world wants more squeaky and useless Kim Kardashians than Kim Holdens.
*The judge probably feels a lot of love when he gets to see the good side of family court etc. I teared up watching him give eddy the doggy. The judge probably sees a lot of bad and it’s amazing to see good as well.*
This video melts my military man heart. If u guys ever in San Diego, CA would love to show you guys around on my ship.
That's so sweet, Michael!
Awww that's so awesome!!! God bless you for your sacrifice 🙏
God bless u !
I absolutely LOVE IT ❤
Good man ❤️👍
I don’t see why anyone sees anything wrong with this. It’s a mom loving her kid. What’s so wrong with that?
Right?!!??!! 😲😁👍❤️
Exactly. You can see how much love they have for eachother.
I don't understand either
It's the elephant in the room.
The ancestors did some wicked shit and we all have this relationship that will never be pure because of it.
@@shaquilleoatmeal5975 We cannot judge people for something their ancestors did. We all have ancestors that have done stupid shit, and we all have ancestors that have done good. Slavery has been a part of many cultures, Africans fought with different African ethnic groups and took slaves, Arabs owned slaves (still do in some parts of the world), the Chinese owned slaves etc etc. Not all white ethnicities owned African slaves either.
I have been crying this entire video. Native American man that has no children. I'm crying not for you but because the children has you to love them and thinking how many children don't know this love. Thank you for sharing!
I'm 8 months pregnant and you have the nerve to have me crying like this!!! Congratulations on Eddie officially joining the Holden tribe. He is handsome and smart and blessed to be in your loving arms.
Danielle Monaá I'm 7 months and crying my eyes out!! I'm so happy for them 🤗
People need to stop with all the hate comments about her adopting white children.
The 309 people who thumbed this video down definitely did NOT have mothers as good as you...
Lisa Clark Amen! Who in their right mind could hit the thumbs down!? Crazy!
You know why they have done it and that is their sad issue so just ignore those people and move on.
LOVE has No Color, Our Creator Loves us All no matter of skin Color, those who have an issue with interracial Fostering or Adoption should Look in the Mirror, and take a hard look at yourself, you will see the thoughts of satan in yourself, Yashua says to Love & Care for his Children.. loving a Child should not have restrictions..
This means a lot to me I am white and Native adopted by Jamaican Americans I am 36 and still forget to tell people I am adopted 😂 many funny moments they outweigh the negative
May you bless little man as much as my family blessed me!
They never made me felt adopted I am their daughter.
I'm not sure if you like country music There is a Garth Brooks song our family anthem we call it a line in it says
'Blood is thicker than water but love is thicker than blood'
Sorry for my little ramble I was eight when I was adopted so I remember my adoption day it was the best day in my life at that point until I got married and had kids now it's the fourth best day of my life 😁
hey - Single mom of adopted kid (of a different race) here. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one. Adoption day is the MOST special. happy Gotcha Day! it's only gets better. :-)
I love you adopter
God bless y’all!!!🙏❤️
Wish every child could have a mom like this lovely young woman ❤
When this lady smiles the whole universe smiles!!Super lucky boy!!!!!

*EDGAR!!! WELCOME TO THE FAMILY! We are your extended family here at You Tube Land & we love you! You'll be able to see this one day and from me and my adopted daughter to you, WE LOVE YOU!! Your mom & sister have been very special to us and you are a rock star* xoxoxo
Jessica Beee This is such a lovely comment!!😍😍
With nearly 40,000 children in the Texas child custody system alone, a loving home for one child is a blessing. Much love to you all.
You can feel the Love this Lady has for her Children. Lord Bless them!!! We all need this Blind love for each other.
I agree with all what you said, but I believe ethnicity means nothing. You are the only mother he ever knew, and he is meant to be your son, and you are meant to be his mom.
Dawoud Khalifa sweet comment
Your post just made me smile! It’s so wonderful when we affirm one another! God bless you!
This world needs more people like you
Sis !! I went into the ugly cry for real looking at all this love. When Edgar was sitting in that judges chair I got chills! I thought to myself God look at him in that chair. He might become a judge someday and reign over adoptions! Beautiful childen, Beautiful Family!!!
Grown man crying at 1 AM. This is beautiful.
True love is colour-blind, just raising children right is the most important thing. My family is black, white and mixed, there's no animus, just family.
Sometimes water can be thicker than blood as well. I'm estranged from my family, they have no interest in my children. It is my in laws that have been there for us. Life is strange like that.
Who is cutting onions in here?! Lizzie's message at the end left me in a puddle. You're an amazing mom.
Me too. I am crying like a baby and I am not even adopted.😭
Omg I cried like ugly cried 30 seconds in. Thank you for loving all the babies you've cared for.
His little chipmunk voice is ADORABLE! ❤❤❤❤
I’m thinking who is luckier, him or her? They are blessed to have each other....
I agree 🥰
Same here. Bawling my eyes out over here. 🥰
Whoever dislikes this video... YOU AIN'T NORMAL👍🏻.. She's an amazing mum and have so much love to give this little boy that no one else bothered to give💯🙌🙌🙌 awsome mum! Your doing amazing 💕
I love that you kept the kids together, mad respect to you, such a beautiful family.
Lizzie pulling grandma in for the picture 😭😭😭, kid's want and need nothing but security and love.....and that right there, showed me they have it both in abundance.
How could someone really press the dislike button for such an emotional video.........How cold-hearted are these people????????
@Nicole Mace Ain't that the truth...
They didn't watch it..
I dont know how anyone can dislike this video. This was the cutest video. You can see and feel their excitement. Congratulations. Your family is beautiful.
Yes it was.
I'm not trying to sound weird but I find it really heartwarming when someone is willing to adopt beyond racial lines. Really, really cool.
nothing weird , its what it is...
We are all the same human race. www.latimes.com/world/africa/la-fg-malawi-albinos-hunted-2017-story.html
I'm 21 and I just found my family.. my girlfriend is black and her family is black. My first real family... it's not about color... it's about love. So yeah.. it's cool
I'm 51 and was adopted at 2. Met birth parents at 22. But with that meeting, my adoptive mom said to birth mom, "She's not mine or yours, she's OURS". I'm a better, loving person cause of these incredible people in my life.
He is adorable. Glad he was adopted by a wonderful mother.
He is very handsome and lucky to have a mom like you. Thank you for giving him a good life and a loving home to live in. He is very handsome.
Who is cutting onions over here?! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mah bad! Sorry about that!! 😝
I aaaaaaaaaam😅 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Omg me too, especially when he was officially adopted ❤
This video is so emotional
He's so cute that I cried. Just from his cuteness.
I'm doing the same thing 😂
Aww you are adorable!
He looks so happy bless him. He has a mummy that loves him.
Me too! Such a sweet boy and a great loving mom.
This was so beautiful. Being a single mom is tough. I've done it. I've raised two boys and I couldn't imagine life without them. Being a foster mom is such an amazing thing to do. You're a super hero. 💜
This is making a 23 year old adoptee cry. Edgar, you're so blessed to have such an amazing mom and big sister
I'm not sure how this video ended up in my recommended feed, but I am so glad it did. How anyone can give this a thumbs down or dislike this is beyond me. As a child of adoption myself I can tell you that when it comes to family not a thing matters but love. What an absolutely precious and sweet little boy, congratulations on your adoption! You have a beautiful family and I wish you nothing but happiness in the future.
I Just ask someone why I never seeen Black parents adopt a white child and Utube prove me wrong Im glad to see this but, these 298 dislike can march straight to HELL, CONGRATS TO MOTHER AND SON KUDOS MAY YIU HAVEE ALONG AND HAPPY LIFE.
There are many, they just dont all make videos.
He is a foster kid (with probably drug addict parents...) , kids than even white people dont want !!! 🙄 They dont let Black People adopt new born baby who dont come from Foster care. .. 🙄
Line YH noticed that. Why do blacks have to foster before adopting(some)
@@ezeo.7315 Because White people dont let their beautifull white New born babies being adopted by Black People, they let them adopt the white Kids that White People dont want: foster care from drug addict parents or from prostitute mother !!! And a new born baby cost very much to adopt they give them to white people
...
Last night my roommate and I were wondering if black people adopted Caucasians and this came as a confirmation, and, bruh, I’m in love. It’s soooooo beautiful how colour is sooo unnecessary here. Just a mum and her son sharing their love
I adopted my son. And i can't imagine loving anyone more than i do him. He is my HEART. Im 58 with an 8 yr old. No regret, no second guessing. Im grateful he came to me. So incredibly grateful!!!
Omg 😭 I don’t even know how I got here... I’m like uncontrollably CRYING. This is so beautiful, you’re amazing❤️
cj Deanna me too. Completely bawling over this amazing woman and what she’s done
Same
I’m crying 😭 I’ve been wanting to adopt ever since I was 14. I will be 21 next October and finally old enough to start the foster -> adopt process. I can’t wait.
Me too! I'll be 21 in January. I cant wait to adopt!
Same here.. nervous to even start
Me too, im 28, ive been wanting since I was 15, I'm finally working, finally finished studying, single & now I can finally follow my calling. I'm scared, I'm anxious, it's so hard in my country
Idk why my friends n fam judge me for wanting to adopt...I so much want to..im 22 ..n idk whether to give up or hold onto that feeling
Amy Kay If it’s what you truly want, and you feel good about it,no don’t ever give up.No matter what anyone says.Follow your gut instinct, and stop sharing personal information with others, that don’t support your ideas,or wishes, and good luck!.
You're living proof that a woman does not have to give birth to be a mom. What a sweet and amazing thing you've done. I can only imagine how much more these two will adore you when they're old enough to understand just how magnificent you are. Congrats and many blessings to you and your beautiful family.
I don't know why but the bit where the Judge gave Eddie a soft toy made me cry! Such a beautiful family.
Wow, over 1k dislikes from people who are pure evil...

And 61k likes the 1k is for all the irrelevant people
Shocking how anyone can not like this video
You're only seeing a fraction of hate in this world. That's just a SMALL fraction. People can be really evil it's annoying

God bless this woman. I had a black foster mom and let me tell you that woman was the best woman. I'm Puerto Rican by the way but she was so funny and nice to say that I was white. I used to be like but I'm not white and she'd say you're not black so you're white LOL. I love her and I still remember her to this day

My dream is to adopt a child : ) so many without mom and dad, without a family to love them...
Me too!🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️

My dream is also to adopt a baby girl when im older. My family doesn't understand why i want it in my life. They say "why dont you make them"
And i would like to be a biological mom one day, but ive always had this admiration for adoptive parents and i think giving a home to a little person who doesnt have a home...that's precious!
Yes I think of all the kids without a home. Especially all the older kids left behind.
Did the judge gift him a stuffed animal? That's so cute! I imagine being a judge in family court is a very tough job, but moments like these must be absolutely magical.
Reading some of the comments makes me mad 😡. This a beautiful baby who had no-where to go to make it about race. Who cares, learn to mind your own business w/ your hateful- self . Love knows no color. What a beautiful family 😍 God’s blessings always and she is such a good Mum❤️
Alice فننة she put her business on RUclips for the public to see so...
The Bougie Wine Chick true but not for people to point out her baby’s race and make an issue about it.
The Bougie Eine Chick, Just because I share parts of my life with the world, doesn't mean people should be mean. Having an opinion, and being mean/rude is not the same thing. And it's funny when I read mean comments, and then when someone responds to them, and say something mean to them.... They get mad. But that should apply to them too. (They put their comment on RUclips for the public to see so...)
I love that your family is multiracial...and it’s refreshing to see the opposite of what I normally see. It’s why I clicked the video. The fact that you are doing it without a partner is HUGE. God bless you.
AJ DAVIES totally agree ! ❤️
Edgar Holden...thats a BIG STRONG NAME!!! I suspect he will do GREAT THINGS!!! GOD BLESS YOUR SWEET LITTLE FAMILY!!!❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤
Just putting it out there: I'm 25, potty-trained and have a pension fund, but I'm taking applications. I live in South Africa, but I'll just need a one-way ticket if your kiddos need a big sis 😂

Lol love it. I'm 25😂🤣😂🤣😂❤️
I was so touched watching your son's adoption video. Lately, we live in a world full of conflict and division, and it feels good and right to see love in action! I'm wishing you and your children all of the happiness in the world!

If the world shared your heart the world would be cured of racism in an instant. Blessed
And this video has only made my feeling about adopting one day even stronger. Those babies love you! Thank you for giving them a home! And being their Mama!
Mione134 I feel the same way 👌🏾💜
I’m adopted I too am so glad this popped up in my recommended too
His genuine happiness and your doting on him brought tears to my eyes. He is going to be quite the personality, he exudes happiness and charm. Congratulations.
Omg his little voice is the cutest thing I’ve ever Hurd ☺️
I’m sickened with myself. This is my 10th video of watching videos of kids being adopted and now I’m crying with puffy eyes and I now I gotta call out sick for work because you wonderful parents! Damnit!! Lol May the lord be all you parents that adopt children.
