I was starting to see red when he was yelling that over Sam. He has the argumentation of a toddler with just enough intelligence to straight up infuriate anyone with even single point higher IQ.
The victim has to be him or else it’s just someone with a “victim mentality” who WANTS to be a victim but isn’t actually one. Therefore they have the responsibility to behave like good little girls and properly check their evidence into the court for everyone to examine in order to receive permission to opt out of being an incubator.
If you can't get "triggered" emotional, passionate or offended by talk surrounding the health of our mothers, sisters and daughters then you're dead inside.
I hate when these losers pull the "calm down" card. It's so undeservingly condescending. Just because you're talking calmly doesn't mean you're being reasonable.
its a manipulation tactic, same as why Tim insists on in person guests only. It's condescending but if you don't calm down it frames you as emotional and "getting riled up unfairly"
Tim Poo’ is calm because he doesn’t care about dead women or babies or anything but dollars. It’s all bread and circuses for him while Rome burns for us.
I was a forensic nurse got 3 years, I can count on 1 hand the number of patients I would be able to definitely say was raped solely on the basis of what I see physically. Finding absolute physical evidence (tear, bruising, etc) is rare. His idea that a victim has any obligation is disgusting! 🤬
Not to mention, it's not evidence of rape on its own. Victims should not be required to be retraumatized on an absurdly tight timeline, to satisfy Tim's sadistic fantasies.
Unfortunately, a lot of people believe rape while ugly has tons of evidence, blood, bruising, scratches, etc. They can't grasp the fact that rape has many forms and the aftermath may look extremely normal in comparison to consented sex.
I am not at all saying Tim Pool should be sought out for advice generally, but this interview was STRIKING in an example of why men uneducated in women’s bodies and women’s sexual assault law and processes SHOULD NOT be making laws on abortion that are now dooming us to death!
All I want is for the government to be run by people who know the issues they are put in charge of and actually have a clue of how to alleviate them. Give me uncharismatic, nerdy technocrats who read scientific papers in their spare time. Imagine a functional government working for the people instead of a show to distract us of how the elites are robbing us.
Abortion exceptions is just another way to assault the woman. If a woman is SA, having to relive the attack by discussing the attack with a stranger. in order to be granted permission to do what she chooses to do with her own body. That requirement to discuss it and relive it again is an assault in itself.
And to even get the abortion done you have to have a transvaginal ultrasound in a lot of red states 😮💨 meaning someone who was forcibly penetrated will have to again be forcibly penetrated to end the pregnancy
Not just discuss and relive- women have to LITIGATE the veracity of their claim, almost always to a man who will then decide what she is allowed to do. I cannot fucking believe this is still on the table.
While I don't think they did that on purpose, I also don't think it isn't a happy little accident for them. I genuinely think that to some of them, it was added as a genuine concession. But those exact people who did that, probably have such a narrow purview of what could count, as well as will often not ignore a huge number of cases that would meet their criteria.
Whenever a conservative talks about “compromise” on abortion, it makes me want to scream, “ROE V. WADE WAS THE COMPROMISE!” Roe V. Wade had mechanisms allowing states to regulate second and third term abortions, and most states did. Third term abortions were and are rare both because states were allowed to rsstrict them and because they are quite invasive procedures that doctors do not recommend casually.
Yup. There was a clearly defined line based on accepted medical science. If Roe v. Wade really wasn't acceptable, the forced-birthers wouldn't have had to come up with emotionally-driven terms that are medically meaningless like 'partial-birth abortions' that simply don't exist or 'heart beat' laws that are just electrical impulses from the cells that will eventually form a heart. They've had to pervert & misrepresent medical facts just to keep this argument alive. Not to mention create the abortion boogeymen - the woman who carries their pregnancy to term less a day just to get an elective abortion at the 11th hour & the doctor who performs it. And frankly, that compromise wasn't even necessary. Women decide very early if they want an abortion or not. Statistics have consistently shown that late-term abortions only occur when there's a medical reason or when abortion access was unavailable earlier in the pregnancy.
This interview helped me understand why people seem to think that RvW was the federal government inserting itself into the abortion issue (and repealing it returned it to the states). They (or at least he) seem to think that RvW said states may not restrict abortion before the 3rd trimester and *must* restrict abortion from the 3rd trimester until birth? Because my understanding was that RvW said states must not restrict abortion before the 3rd trimester and may choose to do so from the 3rd trimester until birth. Although that's still much better than the argument I had on FB where someone said that RvW took away the states' rights to prosecute. The idea that any government entity has a "right" to prosecute seems like some fascist garbage to me.
tim poole is a real piece of work, zero self awareness, and even less shame or concern about his legacy-bro has zero integrity (and of course zero empathy since he is filled with deep, seething, overwhelming self loathing).
If anything Tim isn't emotional enough. He doesn't seem to have any actual views on anything except Ukraine and voting Republican. Every response is "some believe" or "people believe". How can you debate someone who has no positions? He can flip to both sides whenever he feels like it. Complete moron who stands for nothing and falls for everything
And his audience will say he total owned Sam….im not even joking…the level of cognitive dissonance pairs with willful ignorance is scary. People can’t find “sources” that back up whatever delusional theory they come up with and people only seek out answers they want in today’s world. The entire conservative right has hijacked and abused free speech in this country to feel free lying under the guise of the 1st amendment………it’s terrible.
I have had to pause this video several times because all that I can see from Tim Pool is abuser tactics. Sam has the patience of a saint to sit there as the only responsible adult in the room.
I watched it on Tim's video so I didn't even get it broken up with commentary. The rage I had by the time that idiot finally shut up.... I was discussing it with a friend afterwards who largely saw it the way Sam does - that Tim doesn't understand why his position is so offensive bc he hasn't actually thought it through. I finally just had to tell him that I have hit a point where I simply refuse to give the benefit of the doubt to men arguing against Roe v Wade in the so-called abortion 'debate'. If you think that 1) it's a woman's responsibility to society to have an invasive procedure done by a stranger immediately after suffering a physical violation & trauma or 2) abortion limits are necessary in order to prevent wanton women from waking up 39 weeks & 6 days into a pregnancy and randomly deciding to have an abortion then you don't actually see women as human. If you can't argue in good-faith, I owe you nothing.
It makes me so hopeless when men won’t even listen to other men on the subject. I know there’s no possibility of those same men would never listen to, a woman, in the slightest. We need men’s voices, because the men who want to harm us are going to be last people who will listen to us.
28:20 Emma is so spot on, that was PUUUURE fear and panic from Tim. Then the projection that Sam was melting down even though Tim was absolutely shitting himself and his only idea was to talk over Sam and then make up a phrase about what Sam was doing (Matt was right, it's clip-chimping)
I went through this. I had to report my then-husband, and it is literal hell. I had to flee for my safety. He tried finding me in the hospital during my rape kit to stop it. The rape kit itself is extremely traumatic. I had to lie to him about what I was doing in the hospital. He threatened to kill me. My babies and I spent time hiding in a shelter. I am lucky enough to have a good family support system (that was also threatened), a good job, and a great living situation. So many women in the shelter with us were not as lucky. Tim Poole has no idea what he’s talking about.
This might be a situation I get to say my favorite phrase: "Only in America". I guess there are a few right wing kooks from the UK, but this is a good example of something we excel in, some might call it "American exceptionalism".

She received two blood transfusions and was still bleeding. She died because she was didn’t receive care D&C. In states that have ban abortion maternal mortality has gone up 53%.

All you guys did was cry about a false threat of fascism isn't justify anything like Medicaid or medicare.
@DUDEBroHey the general health of Americans and their access to affordable health care are directly correlated. Where health care is lacking or innacessible, general health is lower. Just like how states with a ban on abortions have a higher rate of death at childbirth.
@Damn_Cat they don't accomplish any of those goals at all. The US has the worst outcomes on earth. Are you saying babies that aren't aborted die early in childhood?
Tim literally gaslit Sam at 15:30. I said this on another video. Tim is always making abortion complicated by protecting supposedly from "babies getting killed" when it never happens.
If it's about babies being killed then press them on "rape and incest exceptions", why does that matter if your only concern is the life of the so-called baby? Sounds like we all really agree with abortions for inconvenient pregnancies; it's just conveniently the ones that involve sexual immorality from a man that justify the abortion.

When Tim asked Sam “why are you bringing up edge cases” I got kind of mad, because Tim and his ilks’ whole argument against abortion hinge on those 9 month abortion cases that virtually never happen. Secondly Sam’s example are far less fringe than Tim’s.
@DUDEBroHey Honestly, I didnt think they would play the whole thing, but I guess that should have been assumed from the time. But Im not ashamed. People should get mad at what Tim said if you had any shred of empathy at all.
@@DUDEBroHey Alright, whatever. Doesnt stop me from getting mad and I think getting mad is justified, clearly based on the fact that somehow you are forced to care a r***ist baby and that is wrong.
Arggg! Let's be clear about the term late term abortion. I had a fetal demise at 26 weeks. That means my fetus died in my uterus. I had a much wanted dead baby in my body. Because my husband and I decided to induce labor, our insurance company considered it an abortion and did not pay for the delivery. My water broke and I started bleeding. I had medical care quickly. I was safe. But, I had to decide whether to induce this delivery or wait in the hospital and get blood transfusions until naturetook over . I had children at home. It made sense to induce.
"pro-life" politics are unspeakably evil. hearing these misogynist freaks talk about people's trauma so flippantly is vile. being a tim pool subscriber should put you on at least one watchlist
@@2degucitas That is an abortion. The pregnancy is aborted. Spontaneous: it comes out by itself. Induced: a human induced it to come out. The induced abortion is medical care. "They aborted the space launch".
There were effectively time limits under Roe. A woman with a healthy third trimester fetus has NEVER been able to get an abortion simply because she decided after 7-9 months of morning sickness to just change her mind. A lot of these conservatives are hypocritical about this issue also, like Herschel Walker.
In my opinion, I don’t think what Tim Pool was doing was gaslighting. Pool was acting like a 14-year-old in a heated argument with someone he hates and was relentlessly taunting Sam, hoping that Sam would lose his cool. It made me sick to watch Pool so sadistically and relentlessly taunting Sam. Partly because it was so cruel and partly because it was so immature. Sam had him backed into a corner and the only way Tim could handle it was to be rabid. Yet you handled it so well, Sam.
My mom passed away from breast cancer when i was 12. She was diagnosed when i was 1, went into remission for a couple years before i came back when i was about 10. Last year, my dad passed and my sistsers and i were cleaning out our parents basement when we found medical documents that my mom had an abortion when i was 1. At that time she was undergoing chemotherapy, and the idea that my mom would have had to delay her cancer treatment because she couldnt get an abortion angers me so much. My sisters and i are so thankful that we werre able to have our mom in our loves for as long as we did, and the idea that people are trying to get rid of abortion, which would have potentially caused my mom to pass away 10 years earlier, when i was a baby enrages me. The idea that i wouldnt have a single memory of my amazing mom scares me, and banning abortion wouldnt have just ruined her life, but the life of me and my two sisters as well. Im so disgusted by some peoples lack of either empathy or critical thinking
Abortion alone could have been the single most important factor for a Democratic win. But then they had to go and prop up the most incompetent muppet for a presidential candidate that the people said F that shite and voted in an egotistical maniac
Not to get too personal or cheap, but I work as a courtroom transcriber. Right now I'm having a break from typing up a criminal committal for an alleged DV incident. I type a lot of SA cases, and a lot more of them than I expected when I took the job involve minors and family members. I type the evidence, the sentencing and the victim impact statements. It can be upsetting for me, and I don't have a stake in any of it. Some witnesses break down on the stand and never come back, and cases get dropped. It can be very frustrating to hear people (and not just Tim, plenty of RWers say the same stuff) be so glib and dismissive of all of these systems that are very harrowing for everyone involved, and just make believe that everything could be bypassed by a doctor ticking a box on a form. If they spent a moment immersed in the system, they'd know how ridiculous these idea is (if they don't already). I know the phrase gets overused, but Tim, imo, really should be ashamed of what he does.
I work in the court system too (thankfully not in criminal law) and I agree with you. Pool thinks his ignorance is an argument 🤦🏼♀️. I don’t care if he feels ashamed of himself, I just want him to shut up

I’m a pregnant person in a red state with one of these psychotic abortion ban in place. It’s unfair that instead of being happy and excited everyday, the thought crosses my mind of “what if something happens to my pregnancy and I need an abortion to live and I can’t get one”. It hangs over my head, so these bans are legitimately effecting people who want to carry to full-term. It’s scary.
How would a rape kit detect a rape that happened MONTHS ago. The idea is to prove rape happened to allow a "late" abortion right? Well thats well outside what a rape kit can do anyway. Absolutely absurd.
Well obviously if she didn’t want to go through with the pregnancy she should have thought of that in the first 48 hours after the rape occurred… (I say sarcastically, because that’s pretty much how Tim Pool was approaching this idea)
How would the real problem of backlogged cases that Emma referenced, will ever be resolved. If the r is never reported? And it’s not just in the case of an unwanted pregnancy.
Yeah I was definitely confused too. It's like he just "compromised" by taking one idea each from the "reasonable left" (viability) and the "reasonable right" (rape kit exemptions) and doesn't realize that the viability standard (which he suggests would be 15 weeks) would apply to any person who would have access to a rape kit (which would have to be done within ~3-5 days).
Gotta love when TP gets cornered & turns to the desperate strategy of LARPing a sociopathic psychologist antagonizing his patient into insanity in hopes of confusing Sam into submission. Child.
8:30-ish A rape kit is for providing evidence for the criminal case, it isn't a rape detector. There still has to be a criminal investigation to establish that a rape has occurred, in practice a criminal trial.
His need for this to be a simple test like a pregnancy one is very telling on how ignorant he is on the subject and how much denial he's chugging. He knows no shit of how the body works, how sex works in the body but he has to pretend he is authentically invested in all he whines about. He can't tolerate life is sometimes too complex.
Yes! A rape kit is evidence that sex occurred & collect semen if it is present. If the sex was consensual then it would find the same thing so under his theory a woman can claim rape & get a kit done even though it was consensual. His theory has so many holes
Since Emma brought up 1 in 5 women and girls being R worded in their lifetime, I would like to add that 1 in 4 are SA'd in general. Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH Emma for bringing up how women of color face much higher rates of maternal mortality.
Because bringing forth a rape accusation is met with kindness right? Men like Tim Pool do everything to discount these women, it's no wonder he doesn't understand why a woman wouldn't want to put themselves through that.
11:45 "The burden of performing an abortion" Since when do we consider asking people to do their job a burden? Also, generally, it's not the doctors who are the ones objecting to the abortion.
@ Which law? How is it different from refusing to serve someone at a lunch counter? Also, the point of my post is that putting the focus on the doctor obscures the heart of the debate.
A doctor can choose not to perform elective abortions. They generally have a duty to transfer care to another provider. In non-emergency situations nobody is forcing a doctor to provide an abortion.
@@HanginAndBanginBrother it's a gray area, if she's dying it was previously illegal but elective abortions could be refused to another clinic Which I'd argue if you're opposed to abortion care don't be in obstetrics
Weird that he can’t imagine that some of us would be happy to support choice. Even weirder that he didn’t really seem to think a woman who’s forced into pregnancy wouldn’t also commit suicide. I know I probably would. Just thinking about being pregnant makes me feel panic. I’d feel a complete loss of control of my body. I’ve never wanted kids. But I assume it’s difficult for Dim to fully comprehend that some women just aren’t born with any desire or interest for motherhood, pregnancy, children, family, etc
Wow, that was incredible. How many women can identify with this, a man just dropping the subject to attack you to say you are "getting emotional, having a breakdown, losing it" etc. Such gaslighting.
His gaslighting was so annoying, Sam. Kudos for keeping the argument going especially with what you were going through personally. Disgusting argument he was making and obvious he had no clue about the issue. Thanks for posting.
Watching Sam passionately but relatively calmly and reasonably try to make a point whilst Tim hysterically yelled 'OH MY GOD YOU'RE BEING WAY TOO EMOTIONAL AND IRRATIONAL' over him was quite the lesson in gaslighting.
Had to talk to Tim Pool for a few hours, while his mother was passing away, right before Trump was re-elected.... Sam really went through the ringer a few weeks ago. Mad respect, and my condolences for his loss
Just the other day Tim was telling his paid staff/friends for hire that Sam said “That’s the clip I wanted!” triumphantly and left out the context that Sam was saying that sarcastically after Tim repeatedly accused Sam of baiting him into a clip.
The clip he wanted was being able to finish his effing point without being talked over by Tim saying "you're emotional, you're freaking out, you're having a breakdown, blahblahblah". So yes, that WAS the clip he wanted.

The infant mortality rate in Texas was already ticking upward last year or two due to more births of terminal fetuses. There is almost certainly an increase in maternal mortality due to even less care for miscarriages.
The backlog of rape kits would not matter to Tim. To him it's not about proof - that's why Tim doesn't think a trial is necessary - it's just about making women jump through a grotesque administrative hoop under the guise of social responsibility.
- So can I do it with out a court case? - No - So I would need a court case? - No - Can you explain how you think this should work? - You got to calm down, man!
@ south west because women still have rights there. Women in Texas have less rights than dogs. I’m pretty sure you can still give an animal an abortion in Texas but not a human woman in need.
@@Odinarcade00Thank you, and Yes, I’m well aware as a woman, myself. I appreciate your candor and love for women in your life. I’m still in shock, I guess.
@ yeah my mom lives over there and probably is in denial and my biological father doesn’t believe there is a ban and many young men do not think that doctors won’t give you care sadly. I grew up in Texas my whole life and something in the back of my head told me there was something seriously wrong with that place.
The fact is that Tim dropped out of school in the 8th grade and he reminds us of that fact with every word he speaks. Naturally, it aligns perfectly with the median IQ of his audience which is bottom of the barrel, reactionary authoritarians who haven't spent more than 3 seconds pondering the details of any government or social policy stance. He's not merely unintelligent, he is anti-intellectual, and he has some nerve to accuse of "prop-clipping".
People wanting a late term abortion “just because” is vanishingly rare. People wanting/needing a late term abortion (or assistance with a miscarriage) because there is a health issue is actually not that uncommon (but still represents a very small proportion of total abortions).
Third trimester abortions are very, very rare. And there are not many doctors that perform them, so unless there is a severe diagnosis the woman will not get one. In case of emergencies the nearest hospital will have to help out. Or not - like in the case of the 18 year old in Texas that only got help in the third hospital (and by that time it was too late for her). . She felt symptoms at the baby shower, she was at the beginning of the 6th month (always assuming the fetus had not already been in trouble the weeks before and she did not yet have symptoms).
If the fetus / infant is viable and the pregnancy must end (examples: mother needs a chemotherapy or uncontrollable high blood pressure that will lead to a stroke within days) - the pregnancy will be ended - with birth or with a c-section, not with an abortion (which is easier and faster to pull off than an abortion at that stage). Of course doctors must be allowed to impose the extra risk of premature birth on the infant in order to save the mother for sure. If the infant does not make it (chances are not bad at month 7, but some will not survive) and the doctors fear to be prosecuted (or hospital managers fear problems) .....
Every gynocologist and midwife are unironically saviours of the modern world. Do you know how bad mortality rates were before modern maternal care was introduced? *"Death by childbirth"* was a *very* common cause of death for *anyone* who could become pregnant.
Something I learned in my very first Anthropology class (now if I’m wrong about this, take it up with my professor at community college): is that at one point in our species’ history we had a bottleneck and would’ve completely died out as a species if it weren’t for the “invention” of midwives. The way we evolved to walk upright just completely fücked us over when it comes to labor and delivery. Especially compared to our other great ape cousins. And so if it weren’t for midwives being there to help reposition the baby and aide in the process, humans would’ve gone extinct a loooooong time ago.
A point of clarification: Humans wouldn't have gone extinct, rather they would not have taken the same evolutionary path that they did. The ramifications of this are literally incomprehensible, whether we'r even recognize the resulting species as a human is uncertain. But, crucially, the humans wouldn't have gone extinct, natural selection would simply have favored women with wider hips and hardier constitution generally. It's like the difference between Marty McFly never being born because he messed with his parents dating, and Marty Mcfly getting blown away by Mad Dog Tannen in a quickdraw. One is making something never have existed, the other is destroying something which does exist.
Tim asks why Sam is mad when Sam is the father of a college-age daughter. Like, really? He can’t put himself in that frame of mind? Especially when he might have a daughter himself soon? The flippancy Tim shows toward women at every turn in this discussion was disgusting and shows why so many women are pissed about this issue.
Literally this, it's just a game for him. That's why he couldn't understand why Emma didn't want to hang out with hil after he called her a pdf file on screen. He has no real convictions
The most pathetic part of this entire exchange is that Tim Pool, once he realized he was completely called out, had nothing else to resort to but name calling and trying to talk over Sam as he was getting to brass tacks.
Tim pool telling anyone to calm down about issues with grave outcomes when he has borderline cried on air about minute issues shows how unimpressive of a man is
According to the NIH, one in twenty women, or 6 million women experienced pregnancy due to rape or sexual coercion. JAMA Internal Medicine estimated about 520,000 rapes were tied to 64,000 pregnancies in states with near abortion bans. These are not edge cases.
The scene, had they been standing: Sam, in one spot, emphatically making his point. Tim, nervously pacing, wringing his hands, "Calm down, Sam! You're spiraling!".
Seeing Roe overturned was one of the few things that have ever feel true anger. I remember crying when I got my period the month after I was SA’d and had been putting extra money aside from my part time job at a deli just in case I was pregnant. So yes, Tim, this does make me emotional.
For me a key takeaway from this discussion was around society having no binary moral adjudication on the idea of imposed obligation through victimization. ie. Do we as a society believe that victims have a moral and legal obligation to seek justice, or should it remain a choice whether to or not? If so, how would we even begin to enforce or legislate that? If not, why would victims get to choose to allow/ignore harm?
As a victim, I have to tell you, this was really hard for me to watch. I wish Sam you had just said "That's right. I am getting emotional. Because we're talking about rape." The fact that he was trying to use that as some kind of own could & should have been used against him. Easily. I appreciate you and everything you said, but that exchange was so difficult. If someone calls you emotional about anything really, but especially about rape, saying "No I'm not," hurts your own argument because you're tacitly agreeing that there's something wrong with that. It gave him the opportunity to evade his own ugliness while standing on it for an excruciatingly long time.
Agree totally Emma! Arizona (a red state) ranks as one of the WORST states for healthcare and access to healthcare due to how few docs we have. They even TRAIN here at our schools - then over 79% of them leave and work elsewhere because our hospitals are so bad and they would receive low pay. It’s awful.
If only there were some sort of profession that could determine the viability of a fetus on some sort of case-by-case basis in real time through some sort of procedure, rather than having some podcaster with a beanie trying to decide based on his feelings when it's acceptable to allow the mother to die.
I hate seeing those freaks using poorly understood medical science to push awful laws. Doctors and scientists are as citizens as anyone but they also are experts in their domain, they don't need goofball politicians or podcasters to have an opinion on medecine. If you accept the validity of their work to describe what a foetus is, how it develop, and the various medical issues surrounding pregnancy, you should also accept the scientific consensus about the best practices, the most efficient way to save lives and the prioritization of an actual being above a purely potential being, a potential orphan... science is not an opinion, nor a worldview.
Rape has nothing to do with a womans right to medical care and if she needs a D&C after a miscarrage or an abortion for any reason she should be entitled to do so
Since Roe was overturned, infant mortality is up, abortion rates are actually up, not down. Since the election, vasectomies and IUD use are up 1200% and 700% respectively.
So the 13 year old who accused Trump of rape, and didn’t press charges because she was terrified was wrong and carry out her responsibility as a victim? Got it! Thanks, Tim
it’s not just adults that die sadly. But yeah, this is how we know we are hated by some men and others forced birth believers. They never prioritize the pregnant person
His constant interrupting should be a signal to anyone that he doesn't have a leg to stand on so he's trying to just steamroll Sam...but his fans are the kind of people who think that's like manly behavior, if they even think about it at all
We need to make abortion completely irrelevant. Theres much bigger problems facing us. WHO wants to bring a child into this realm? A life of servitude to Baron doesn’t sound spiritually appealing
"one side is demanding an extreme" When saving a life is extreme, you've gone off the rocker. No, I'm not talking about the fetus that could not survive on its own. Fetuses aren't people.
I commend Sam for sticking to the point being debated. Pool showed a very disrespectful attitude towards Sam and survivors of sexual assault. Absolutely horrendous behavior by Pool.
27:15 "He can't shut up" re: Tim from either Matt or Brandon. Exactly this. Accusing Sam of having an emotional breakdown while not letting Sam get more than 5 words in at a time.
Tim's position would also mean that every single underaged girl would have a right to an abortion because there is no question as to whether a crime was committed if the age of consent is 18. No reason to do a rape kit. There is no CONSENST if the pregnant child is under the age of consent. I'm guessing that isn't his stance, however.
I’d love for Tim to tell us what other victims of crimes should be forced by law to risk their lives & health, permanently alter their bodies, and endure excruciating pain and unwanted bodily occupation, simply because they didn’t take Tim’s advice and follow all the proper procedures of “responsibly” reporting the crime to the authorities. Tell us, Tim. Should you be denied medical care and forced to endure intense pain if you… say… fail to immediately report that you were mugged or something?
The inconsistency of Tim's mind is infuriating😂. On the one hand his argument is that abortion should be legal except for late term abortion which should only be allowed in some special circumstances. But I would assume pregnancies due to r*pe are usually terminated pretty early on? So, in most cases it would be perfectly legal to end the pregnancy without jumping through the legal hoops he is describing. So what is his point exactly? Late term abortions are almost always done due to some medical complications related to the mother and/or child, and Tim seems to be okay with those. So it's him who is arguing from edge cases as his main fear is that women will be aborting babies while they are crowning just for the fun of it.

Abortion exceptions is just another way to assault the woman.
If a woman is SA, having to relive the attack by discussing the attack with a stranger. in order to be granted permission to do what she chooses to do with her own body. That requirement to discuss it and relive it again is an assault in itself.
exactly. and they probably wouldn’t believe her anyway
Statistics have consistently shown that late-term abortions only occur when there's a medical reason or when abortion access was unavailable earlier in the pregnancy.
that's the ratchetting effect of democratic parties capitulating to the right, Compromise on our compromises until you're completely compromised.
Keep screeching. Have kids dude. You'll be happier.

Given the reported backlogs of kits that were never tested, the child will be walking before they get a result.

I like how Tim says you are not "responsible" enough to seek justice but you are more than capable of raising a child
I was 15, and miscarried at 5 1/2 mo, cervix closed so had to do D&C. I would have been dead if people like Tim Poole had their opinions legalized.
The goat Sam, you’re the goat.
The infant mortality rate in Texas was already ticking upward last year or two due to more births of terminal fetuses. There is almost certainly an increase in maternal mortality due to even less care for miscarriages.
This is coming from the party of "family values"
53% jump. And it was already not great there.
If they are counting terminal fetuses, wouldn’t it also be fair to count the number of aborted fetuses as well?
@@LEP021085 No, because birthing a baby that then dies, even if that outcome was predicted, is not the same as aborting a fetus that is likely to die.
I honestly don’t understand why anyone would want to live in Texas. Everything about that state is horrible
The backlog of rape kits would not matter to Tim. To him it's not about proof - that's why Tim doesn't think a trial is necessary - it's just about making women jump through a grotesque administrative hoop under the guise of social responsibility.
Where’s the social responsibility for not repeatedly traumatizing and retraumatizig people
He talks like abortions are recreational.
- So can I do it with out a court case?
- No
- So I would need a court case?
- No
- Can you explain how you think this should work?
- You got to calm down, man!
Talking to Tim Pool sounds so insufferable. I would not be able to maintain my composure.
I would not want to maintain my composure.
There’s a reason I don’t live there anymore. I care about the women in my life.
I’m considering the same…
May I ask where you landed? I’m not asking for a town, perhaps a state? Or a region?
Sam should avoid saying 'abort a child'. It's a foetus. Saying otherwise plays into the pro life narrative.
*This Republican **_squirrell_** has become so redundant, and consequential in real life!!!*
A point of clarification:
Humans wouldn't have gone extinct, rather they would not have taken the same evolutionary path that they did.
@@georgesears934That argument made absolutely no sense, but people like you are too stupid to exist.
tims emotional break down is so rough. Probably was doing it to prop clip
LOL
The one guy’s laughter is one of my favorite parts of MR
In accusing Sam of bringing the drama, Tim Pool infact, brought the drama.
Tim: Says something completely ridiculous
Sam: Has a completely valid response
Tim: "You're prop clipping..., You're Spiraling..., You're throwing Slurs..."
To Tim it's just a game. He doesn't care about any of this. Maybe that's the most depressing part about all of this.
Literally this, it's just a game for him.
That's why he couldn't understand why Emma didn't want to hang out with hil after he called her a pdf file on screen.
He has no real convictions
You guys really are a bunch of babies lol. Try to speak without crying.
@@xbefri23 Wow, you’re so edgy and dettached. Only the coolest guys disregard women and healthcare.
The most pathetic part of this entire exchange is that Tim Pool, once he realized he was completely called out, had nothing else to resort to but name calling and trying to talk over Sam as he was getting to brass tacks.
The justice system, police, courts have a history of mysoginy.
history has a history of mysoginy
It’s a feature, not a bug
And yet men get harsher punishments for the same crime, while women are less likely to even be convicted in the first place. But keep whining.
Tim is suffering from cognitive dissonance. He has to appease his audience but doesn’t know how to argue in their favour because he doesn’t believe it
The scene, had they been standing: Sam, in one spot, emphatically making his point. Tim, nervously pacing, wringing his hands, "Calm down, Sam! You're spiraling!".
All the while, Tim starts whining about Sam using ad hominem attacks right after Tim used an ad hominem attack. 🤷♂️
It’s awful.
tim really thought if he just said “you’re having a meltdown” enough times it would magically become true.
Rape has nothing to do with a womans right to medical care and if she needs a D&C after a miscarrage or an abortion for any reason she should be entitled to do so
I've never seen more aggressive ridiculous gas lighting than from Tim here
Since Roe was overturned, infant mortality is up, abortion rates are actually up, not down. Since the election, vasectomies and IUD use are up 1200% and 700% respectively.
Tim pool was having an emotional breakdown lmao
So the 13 year old who accused Trump of rape, and didn’t press charges because she was terrified was wrong and carry out her responsibility as a victim? Got it! Thanks, Tim
They don’t want to abort a child but what then happens when the adult mother dies?! This is barbaric
it’s not just adults that die sadly. But yeah, this is how we know we are hated by some men and others forced birth believers. They never prioritize the pregnant person
His constant interrupting should be a signal to anyone that he doesn't have a leg to stand on so he's trying to just steamroll Sam...but his fans are the kind of people who think that's like manly behavior, if they even think about it at all
:insert Stop, Stop He's Already Dead Simpsons meme: 🤣 Tim is so devastatingly stupid on every level
We need to make abortion completely irrelevant. Theres much bigger problems facing us. WHO wants to bring a child into this realm? A life of servitude to Baron doesn’t sound spiritually appealing
You know what the _best_ part about Roe v Wade was? It *already* addressed these edge cases. We went _backwards_ not forwards.
Tim Pool "if a woman doesn't get a rape test she is obligated to carry the baby." Has Tim ever described how he plans to pursue a family?
Tim absolutely does not know what a rape kit is.
"one side is demanding an extreme"
When saving a life is extreme, you've gone off the rocker. No, I'm not talking about the fetus that could not survive on its own. Fetuses aren't people.
Sam has the patience of a saint
