Cheers mate! now I know what my next plans are. I was desperately looking for a way starting a a manual QA, having on background only a training certificate of QA tester.
Great information! I would agree that going for junior position is not going to work. Doing freelance and talking to companies is going to be a better route. The main skills IMO are being adaptable, collaborating with others, and being curious of what would happen if I do this :)
@alex I have some Front-End development skills just not enough to land a job just yet. I do like the sound of a Software Quality Assurance Engineering (not sure if that's right), my overall question is if it's a good choice and where should someone with my experience get started?.
I’m interested in getting into QA, and have some coding experience. However, my background and resume are in tech sales (8 years). Can I still make the transition to QA testing?
