Todos Santos is a surfer's paradise with lots of Pacific Ocean breaks to choose from. There aren't many swimmable beaches, but Cerritos Beach just south of town is an option for stronger swimmers.
Todos Santos is an old mission town with ample freshwater (you'll see from the number of palm trees and agriculture growing naturally in this area.) It is also one hour from the state capital of Baja California Sur La Paz.
