- The Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 is a German tier 8 premium tank destroyer with the same 105 mm gun as the Leopard gets at tier 10, but with a lower rate of fire. This tank will NOT replace the old Kanonenjagdpanzer, but the owners will be able to swap the tank if they wish.
Every player with the old version of the Kanonenjagdpanzer has the following options:
• Swap the old version for a new one for free (Ticket is needed)
• Keep the old version and buy the standard version with a 50% discount
• Every player who has the old version will get the dedicated style for Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 for free during the swap
• Players who don’t have the old version but want the new style, need to purchase Ultimate or Supreme bundle

EDIT: Many people have been asking if the 90mm version will ever be for sale in the future. We asked WG and this is the response we got "Since it's a historical version of this vehicle, it's not off the table, let's say like that. For now there is no concrete plans what to do with it, but it mat appear in one way or another" :)

German and British guns... Despite GREAT stats on paper, if not 100% aimed, your chances of actually hitting what you aim are just slightly above 0.
And if fully aimed, your chances of hitting are a bit under 10%.
Also, despite high penetration values, it will mostly bounce.

It's that aim "rebalance" from a few years ago. The distribution of hits don't have a high peak at the centre of the aim circle, just a low "peak". So a lot of shots will be no where near the centre of the aim circle.

@@terra20209 if youre talking about the S1, then no, it has Siege mode. And its not in Blitz. If the 74A2(M/57 or baaicly, strv with 13 75 turret), then yes, it has no siege mode. Its a medium tank.

The CEO of WG has made 1 billion Euro after 3 years of running WoT, this is the money to keep the game running and its enough money to run it for 10 years. The game is 7 years old now, what do you think how much money they have collected to run the game. We could all stop paying and the game would still run at least 15 years. WG can't just shut down the game just because no fresh money is coming in.
Also every tank in the game is made with the same 3D Model just changed a little bit with different textures and stats are just numbers that they apply to the tanks, so there is almost no work involved in creating a new premium tank, but they sell thousands of copies of that without any extra costs for the price of a full game.
@asaeampan It's almost as if you're really gullible and use your mum's credit card to buy every premium tank WG throws at you.
Has good accuracy but misses for no reason. Has awesome penetration but bounces for no reason... yup I can tell that's a Leopard gun right there.

I think it is balanced but it should probably have more armor by 20 mm (50 mm) and perhaps as much health as the original Kanonenjagdpanzer. I may buy it.

That looks like a hybrid hetzer
Didn't pen the O-HO because his armor was angled. AP would punch through, but by shell design an APCR round would bounce like that. Much like how HEAT hates angles but for different reasons. It's easier to drive a needle into a flat object than an angled one.

I have both the 90mm and the 105mm and in my opinion the 90mm is more reliable when it comes to hitting that might be down to the ROF where as the 105 has some "funny" quirks you can sometimes do without

Glad I wasn't the only one who didn't like the gun on this thing. It's like the amx cda. Good stats and pen but it misses too many shots or randomly bounces when it should pen.

Planning on getting the new, and keeping the old. It's one of the best Tier 8 scouts in the game.

105 too good on a tier 8? Isn't that gun pretty comparable to the 120 on T28/T28P, and worse than the JP2/Ferdi/Skorp cannon?

you can buy it back from the comparism shit thingy ingame just look up your tank and right click it and you will be able to rebuy it :P
