    I did 2 things after this review:
    1) bought the flask
    2) hunted down a bottle of Balvenie 12
    That is damn expensive here in Australia. But man is it a good drop!

    I've been debating about picking up a titanium flask for a while, thanks for you take on it. Also if you pour with the opening at the top it should equalize the pressure and no more dribbles ( like a quart of motor oil) thanks again 👍

    Please tell me , is the neck attached by soldering or welding ? If soldering, then you can be sure of the safety of the solder used?

    Hi bud what size I’d this one 120 or 200 ml ?

    You’re pouring it incorrectly. Turn it around and pour it like you would a quart of oil. It pours much better like that w/out the spillage.

    Is it light weight? I wanted to buy a pewter flask but after seeing this, it looks modern and sleek

    Well, I was sold on this flask until I watched the water overflow with the provided funnel.

    Thanks for the review. Is this the 100ml or the 200ml version?

    • @gearchallenge7555
      @gearchallenge7555  4 года назад

      Because of the long term T.I.P. with what is now a partially full flask of Balvenie Caribbean Cask, I haven't had an opportunity to pour an accurately measured amount but I believe this is the smaller version.

    Is this the 120ml or 200ml version?

    • @Mattrycky
      @Mattrycky 4 года назад +1

      120ml

    • @gearchallenge7555
      @gearchallenge7555  4 года назад

      Yes, I believe the smaller size from a rough external estimate, because of the long term T.I.P. with what is now a partially full flask of Balvenie Caribbean Cask, I haven't had an opportunity to pour an accurately measured amount but I believe this is the smaller version.

      It actually works out to be 160ml filled completely.

    Out of curiosity, where was the flask manufactured?

  • @GabrielVelasco
    @GabrielVelasco 2 года назад

    I'm not sure single malt scotches are the best thing for a flask. Normally, you drink straight out of a flask and good Scotches need to be appreciated neat and in a good good glass for the nose. I think flasks are great for a good bourbon, rum, or maybe even a decent vodka. Something that doesn't depend so much on the nose.

    Author needs to get a good Glencairn glass.

    Nice flask, but the opening is too small.
