Yep, exactly what it was. It looked like someone could repair it though. The wooden drop leaf table is very similar to one I have that used to belong to my grandparents. Dates from about 1930 - 1950. Fun and easy to restore. You broke the Hoosier? Not much really. Some wood glue would do to make it like new. 😎

as said before you left quite a bit of cash on the curb. Hoosier top was actually in good condition, easy 100 bucks, table probably 35 - 50 in that condition, large poodle 700.
I have a old cabinet that had middle drawers that stuck a lot. So I removed them and put neat wooden boxes with handle in. I've seen people us baskets as well. You could do that with the old cabinets and dressers you find.
Yep, as a # of comments below, it was a top to a vintage Hoosier cupboard, the bottom might have been under the drop leaf table, next to it. It could have been reperposed by the right person. That Lrg. wht. dog was beauitful. Well, yes I agree w/you that lrg. picture fram was really nice, untile you put that kids, motor bick on top of it! Take care.
As pointed out by others that is a hoosier top,, and a gate leg table. both need restoring but any antique dealer would buy either or both. I know as I spent 30 years picking and dealing antiques. you just take them to the dealer and let them look. they usually will tell you what to look for. And they will buy stuff in the condition those items were in, so you don't need to restore them, they will pay more if you do though.

I think B& D had stuff with sucky batteries. Some of that stuff looks recent, but might be 10+ years old. My B/D weed wacker "worked", but new batteries needed charge all the time.
The cupboard looks like the top to a Hoosier cabinet. The long door had a flour bin and sifter. The metal shelf under it slid out. The bottom part had 2 drawers and 2 doors on feet. It was the main cabinet in the kitchen. Strange, but I have been looking for a drop leaf table like the one with the cupboard. 😃😃🥰
That bike is made for 3 year at that companie. It's around $175/375 resale. Be careful with te bike. What a very nice vinding. Greetz from the Netherlands.

You should have listened to the giant poodle. He was trying to tell you to take the antique Hoosier cabinet top and antique table because they would sell at the flea market. Giant poodles never lie!
Hoosier cabinet top would have been nice. The tambor (the rolling thing) stops working because they get a lot of paint buildup. You didn't break it, but if you took it you'd have to reglue all the slats on new canvas.
I didn't initially go around the neighborhood looking through other people's trash. I was just exercising on a bicycle. However, after finding a lawnmower, several weed wackers, 2 treadmills, 3 bicycles, a stationary bike, and 5 or 6 fans, I've now setup a route for myself so that I'm going down the most streets in my neighborhood while I go exercising. Furthermore, if something doesn't work, it's just a matter of taking it apart and seeing what's wrong with it.

just looked up the bicycle on ebay. It is a vintage harley one. One listed for $500 one sold in the range of $150, was sold as best offer so really hard to tell (shipping was $100!!). Great find!! Wish I lived near you. That was a top to a hoosier and I have the bottom to one!! Bummer!!
I had a used 1974 Harley Davidson, and what you picked isn't it. I paid $60 for mine and ended up giving it to a friend of mine, haven't seen it since That was over 40 years ago. I'm going to get a van and start picking, if I can find the stuff you find!!

i bought one for $100.00 and took it apart. fixed it, and now its the 'office' in the living room. i LOVE that thing.

That’s a bicycle. They are quite expensive.They go for $150 used . Just put chrome cleaner on the handles and it will be good as new.
