I’m Korean American and I speak Spanish fluently and I’ve lived in Jalisco for more than 10 years. Never had a problem finding a Mexicana who loved me for me. So it’s different for everyone.
These Korean let’s not forget have treated us Mexicans like we’re their servants. Their also racist they feel American and look down on us. NEWSFLASH we’re not meant to serve Americans on a gold platter 😒
Very interesting interview Andrew. I enjoyed his insight and personality. Quick question; Are you living in Tijuana and are you Korean American ? . I frequent Tijuana and other parts of Mexico often.
I’m trying to bring my friend from there here to Arizona and it’s hard….. I’m trying to learn Spanish and he is trying to learn English …. I wish he was fluent like you ❤
He's not wrong about the majority of Mexicans coming to the US for work $$$$ they get that cash and send most of their money over to build there homes, business once its all complete they go back. Mexico has it all just the jobs with low salary, what most Americans make here in day Mexican over there make in like 3 to 5 days that's an issue, its a beautiful country with great food, culture, every country will have its pros and cons you just have to chose how you want to live and the life you want ;)
Nice interview was doing some research on moving to Mexico 🇲🇽 I’m a Nomadic Traveler that lives more like an Expat now. I’m Haitian/American lived in a few countries over the past few years. Been in between Haiti/DR currently. Now I need something new and Refreshing I thought about Tijuana Mexico 🇲🇽 Cause it’s a country a lot of my Zoe’s go to when Seeking a better life from Haiti Mexicans have show great hospitality to Haitians which I’m very proud of ✊🏿. I Starting a family in Haiti which I’m really happy and grateful for. But as we all know things hasn’t been easy in Haiti. Since my girl is from and living in Haiti I thought Tijuana Mexico as 1 of the prefect place to be. My girl could move there with me go to a University, possibly find an opportunity to work in Mexico adapt to the Mexican culture and then possibly apply for entry to America. My main concern for myself living in Tijuana was trying to find work in Mexico while living there. I Do make a decent income from investments monthly that would afford me to live in Tijuana. But earning more is better. The idea of working in San Diego and living in Tijuana just amaze me, I never thought of it that way. Any advice and tips would be great. I’m opening to working in Tijuana as long as it’s flexible work with a good to decent pay. I’m fluent in English, Haitian Creole, Moderate in Spanish.
Thank you for watching my friend. If after your planning and analysis, you have come to the conclusion that it's the ideal place for you, you should totally go for it!
Some people would probably think that because he’s earning dollars and spends in Mexico he’s not contributing to American economy, but both economies are very intertwined so in Mexico it’s inevitable you end up buying American products from also many American chains like Walmart, Costco, auto zone, Mac Donald’s and almost every fast food and major box store chain there is in the us, it’s in Mexico, just my point of view.
Mexico DOES NOT lack education. Mexico had very good education available the problem is most people cannot afford it. Some parents are so deep in poverty they bring their children to work with them and the government does not help financially like they do in the US. But Mexico does not lack education.
Awesome video. I've been trying to transfer from my work here in LA to San Diego so I can go live in TJ but I don't know what's the process of renting in TJ close the San Ysidro. Have any advice?
Most places that rent in TJ don't care about process but only care about if you got cash as those tall apt complex building built do care about background check. The border line is a nightmare
I think that by living in TJ and working in the US, Julio is keeping one foot in Mexico and the other in the US. He is having his cake and eating it too.
I kept seeing this comment & meant to respond earlier 0 Yes you can uber every single morning to the border. There are busses & taxi vans that can also take you there if you don't want to spend on Uber.
Cake huh??😆😆. The guy obviously likes the cheap rent and by the looks of it the cheap gentlemans clubs so if you ever visit him guess you'll see what he trys to eat from you😎
HELLO, I WORK FOR BARRICK GOLD MINING COMPANY, THATS WHY I AM HERE, I REALLY MISS REAL CHINESE CANTONESE FOOD, REALLY HARD TO GET IN MEXICO,AND ITS REALLY NOT MANY CHINESE IN MEXICO AS WELL.

We aré usually thick skin, AND we at the end dont take things very personal, for example, im very morena, AND my family call me negrita cambuja, Nick name since chilhood, AND i dont take offense to that (the mayority of Mexicans were raise like that, specially old school)...but you have to take a really dive onto our culture
WELL I MOVE FROM NEW YORK CITY TO MEXICO FOR MY COMPANY AND DEALING WITH THE THINGS HERE FOR ME, WAS NOT GOOD, I DONT WANT TO SAY THE BAD THINGS, SO I JUST GOT THE HELL OUT OF MEXICO AND MOVE TO THAILAND AND IT WAS THE BEST MOVE EVER, AND I AM SO HAPPY HERE AND I AM TREATED BATTER HERE THEN IN MEXICO AND ITS CHEAPER, SO GO WHERE YOUR TREATED BATTER, AND THAT IS WHAT I DID.

Many of the trashy and unhealthy stuff comes from American businesses as you mentioned

Is it dangerous for a Asian American to move to TJ
No, but the quality of life you live will depend on some factors.
