Every Saint has at least one Romans 12 gift and can be used by anytime the Holy Spirit want with the 1st Corinthians gifts. Also most of the Romans 12 gifts intertwines with the Ephesians 4 gifts: prophecy/prophet, lead, manage/apostle, Acts of mercy/evangelism, exhorter, encouragement, counselor/pastor, teaching/teacher. Ephesians 4 gifts will have add influence to Body along with gifts.
Good word. Lots of people want to be famous, so they claim to be a five fold minister. They just use Jesus for fame. Sad. Changing gears somewhat, I had a cute lil dream once, while being houseless, living in my car, before the cops took it and suspended my driver's license, at the same time, for no reason at all. I have a clean driving record. No tickets and no car accidents. The D.M.V. said I need a doctors note saying I pass a physical exam and then I have to take the driver license test, all over again. My license was totally fine before the cops did all this mess. ( Spiritual Warfare ) Anyway, maybe two years ago, I had this dream. It was day time, and I was outside walking. I didn't see anything around me. Then this cute happy little boy comes by me, and says loudly, " You're a Prophet". I look at him and smile because of his joy. He looked like a kid that likes to play outside. It was like he was wearing tennis shoes, shorts and a T-shirt . He did have a lil darkish skin and real short dark brown hair with brown eyes. He looked like 10 or 11 years old. Dream Ends.
Titles are a problem, there r people with titles but God calls them out, or leads a leader to call them out. Most churches have a pastor for every job in the church, I don't personally think it's helpful! I agree if there is a call or title to an office you better be humble or you will be wiped out, Satan fell from heaven due to pride. I seen a big rise with these issues since the internet. Amen! The Lord is in a season of restoring the 5 Fold Ministries to His Churches. In order to equip the saints for the work of ministry....let me be more specific .... To bring each House into the fullness of Jesus Christ, to operate in the specific flavor that He has called each House to operate in, in the specific territory they are in (20:00 min mark). In order to bring in the End Time Harvest.
In Ephesians 4, Jesus GAVE some as apostles, prophets, evangelists , shephards, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Jesus made these folks to BE these things. Which is different than spiritual gifts given by Holy Spirit. As discussed 9:00 mark. I think if one is called to 5 Fold Ministry its kind of obvious. I see folks who have a gift of prophecy, who get words of knowledge, visions for themselves or individuals, etc, calling themselves Prophets. All should desire to prophesy. But we are not all prophets. I have seen folks attempt to operate in these 'governing' ministries without The Grace...fir example, going to the Pastor prophesying things that maybe are true in general, that are from Scripture, but that The Lord's Hand is not on for *that* church at *that* time. A 5 Fold Prophet is going to consistently get prophecy for the direction of a church or The Church or region, etc. And the Pastor of that church, for example, is going to be able to confirm your 5 Fold call, cause you're going to be consistently, over time, prophesying to him (8:30 mark). Of late, I'm hearing "Prophets shouldn't be prophesying, they should be teaching others how to prophesy". Personally, I feel thats a rather narrow view of "equipping the saints for the work of ministry". While that should be part of the equipping; communicating The Lord's Vision to church leadership over time most certainly results in equipping of the saints for the work of ministry.
