Several of you are probably wondering what this is! NECROMANCY is an independent composition project I am working on with the goal of making an entire imaginary game soundtrack, complete with shared motifs and a small story. It will follow an undead protagonist exploring an unfamiliar world to discover the nature of her creation. I will be uploading new tracks throughout the year alongside my arrangements. I've been excited to start this project for some time, and I really hope you all enjoy it! My original work on this channel always has some trouble getting its feet off the ground, so please feel free to leave a like or comment! Thank you as always for listening.
I am thrilled to hear more installments of this project of yours! I'm so looking forward to the original compositions you've cooked up, I can't wait! This first one you've posted is GREAT! I love the spooky buildup into the silence just before an unexpectedly BOPPIN main theme. I can so vividly picture this game in my head, excellent work Evelyn! Never stop creating!! ❤❤❤
Intriguing! =D Your pitch for NECROMANCY sounds deeply appealing with a plausible premise! Being a fan of your countless Castlevania and Legend of Zelda remixes, I'm certain that this new project of yours will be worth all the hard work, regardless of whether or not it becomes a full-fledged video game! =) Whatever happens from here, I'll be rooting for you all the way!
This sort of thing, making music or art for hypothetical games that don't exist, always hits me right in the creative spot of my brain in a way I always really enjoy. Imagining the sort of game and story that's being told through this music is gonna be super fun! Very excited to see where this project goes :)
It's unfortunate the algorithm isn't kind to original compositions like this; it's so fascinating to hear an original composition, and the fact it all contributes to an underlying story makes me wish some day I could see a real game come to life from it! But in the meantime I'll happily enjoy these incredible works of art! It sounds like that mix of scale and determination when you get the upper hand on the boss' final form. It kind of reminds me of the Shadow Queen's second phase theme in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door in that way.
I love how hauntingly beautiful yet hopeful that first part is as it then stops to transition into something much more energetic. In a way wearing the track title on its sleeve which is super cool
I saw the community post yesterday and decided I'd give this a listen. It sounds pretty damn cool! It has some somber parts, but it also sounds very "determined". I look forward to what the rest of this composition project has in store, if it continues!
Maybe it’s because of your covers from the Ode to Castlevania DLC (which are amazing btw), but I really seeing this being the opening of an action platformer like megaman or CastleVania. It definitely makes me think of those title screens that start with a calm melody and then, if you wait long enough, go into an animated movie, showing the MC’s journey and foes she will have to face. It evokes the same nostalgia that Shovel Knight has.
I don't know who hides behind this channel. But you have my full fledged support for this project of this is the level of music we have to expect. Banger level
The opening sounds so *pretty*. Love the sounds you used there. If this played during a boss battle in a legendary JRPG I wouldn't bat an eye. It fits right in.
Holy SHIT that drop was nasty. I love the super hype energy, anime opening like vibe where I could totally see the characters of the imaginary game running around... doing whatever the game is about lol If this is just the title theme I can't wait to hear what the inevitable battle or area themes will sound like.
The tonal shift just over a minute in was really well done, it surprised me but at the same time wasn't jarring, if that makes any sense. This is a really rad composition, it's got a very "heroic" feel to it if I had to describe how it sounds to me. The chance to share a story and emotions through music seems like a very fun one, as a listener I'm excited to hear the rest of NECROMANCY!
Wow!! This sounds amazing!! I'm already trying to imagine a story and images in my head while listening to it, which makes it even better. I'm wishing this could be a real game now 😭
I love projects like this. I'm stoked if this is really gonna be a full imaginary game OST. It's like a peek into a creative fantasy expressed through the creator's preferred medium. Visual art, games, or auditory experiences. I just get so excited to to get to see that glimpse. Thank you for sharing! And it sounds great!
Outstanding original theme, Noble Demon. I love how it's haunting and beautiful, then energetic, spunky, until blending them together a bit. It's enough to reanimate even a dead part of my own creativity.
OH I LOVE THIS I am jamming and dancing and heavily rocking with this (especially as someone who is always thinking up and occasionally making songs for hypothetical games haha) Cannot WAIT to hear more from this project!
This was INCREDIBLE! Loved the rise into silence before bursting into the more energetic part, ,made it feel more impactful! I'll be looking forward to your next original piece!
So much love went into this track, and i wouldn't put it past a team to base a game solely around the original music you make. Love the Necrodancer vibes here btw.
This opening track for NECROMANCY sounds truly beautiful! I love how it sounds like the culmination of all your Castlevania and Legend of Zelda remixes over the years! =D I hope NECROMANCY becomes a full-fledged video game someday!
You already proved that you are talented for remixes but now you're proving your talent for original compositions! It sounds so good and I'm intrigued to listen for more! Good job!
I've often listened to OSTs to find inspiration for my own stories, imagining certain things or scenes that might fit the music and using that as a jumping off point for more original stuff. All that to say that this is a really neat experiment you've got going on, and I'm really curious to see how far it goes!
1:10 The main menu and background fade away... 1:13 and is replaced by a montage of story cutscenes and gameplay footage, though some input brings the menu back for a little while. Sounds very much like a retro game. In fact, the instruments keep reminding me of Shovel Knight. I'm very much looking forward to seeing more snippets of lore and hearing more music of this hypothetical game.
Wow! I dig this! This gives me Shovel Knight vibes in combination with like Geometry Dash, some Undertale(?), and JSaB (Bossfight specifically). This is beautiful and I look forward to more
I really, really like this overall! Cool little backstory too which would make for a rad game plotline too. Personally though, I really liked the first minute much more with the eerie and mysterious vibes it gave off over when it suddenly went super hard. Sorta felt like going from Hollow Knight to Shovel Knight I suppose. But the motif was fantastic and hopefully this music series gets the attention it deserves even if the algorithm doesn't want it to.
It's amazing! 🤩🤩🤩 Please continue with the project! This is only a glimpse of future songs that you do with so much quality, effort and care... Keep in mind that you already have people who will listen to your projects breathlessly ✨🫂✨ Looking forward to listening for more "NECROMANCY"!!
I am positively surprised I mostly listen to the Zelda soudntracks so I came in expecting a similar vibe (the instrumentation is what I mean) But I love THIS!

Necromancy? HERETIC!
;-)
if you want some help for programming it, I can try if you want

The fact you released this on the winter solstice is actually insane you mad lass!
Also I know this is supposed to be an imaginary game soundtrack but you have no idea how much I already wish this was a real game
Oh my god this sounds beautiful, your original compositions never cease to amaze me. Please keep this up ❤
"Were you killed?"
"Sadly, yes... but I lived!"
This is awesome. Can't wait to hear the rest of it!
Reminds me of those obscure 90s Bullet Hell PC games.
This were a treat to hear
this is absolutely incredible work. instantly transported to a new world
Lilith jumpscare!

You dance with death! -Necromancer
Wow!! This sounds amazing!!

I love it! Feels like the opening scroll/title screen theme with demo mode haha!
So much love went into this track, and i wouldn't put it past a team to base a game solely around the original music you make. Love the Necrodancer vibes here btw.
"Death is timeless, and will suffer no abnegation!"
"Your reputation is overstated, hm?"

Oh I adore this, can’t wait for the rest of the soundtrack
Happy solstice, Ev! This sounds incredible; I can't wait to hear more of this series! I'm already wishing this was a "real" game!
This seems to be a really good start for a project !
The music already feels nostalgic somehow ,
I feel like we will have a big surprise ! 😊
It's got this enchanting vibe to it that I really like. I'm really excited to see how you bring back some of these motifs for future tracks in this!
This is SO GOOD! And such a cool concept for contextualizing the music. I can't wait to hear more NECROMANCY!
Whoa, I really like this! It reminds me a lot of Castlevania and Cyber Shadow!
Can't wait for more!! ❤

Oh, this is really nice! Love the spooky vibe. Thanks for making it!
Fantastic piece! Good luck on this project, it's always very interesting to have these kind of "what if" experiences!

Oh my goodness, this song is spectacular. Please keep these original compositions coming!!! Fantastic work ❤
This goes CRAZY hard, excellent work.
It goes hard 😍
Bravo!
Quite the bop, and to a really cool concept too! I hope the project goes well!
I hope there are more tracks like this in the near future. This is very nice!
OH YEAH bbAY
Wow! I dig this! This gives me Shovel Knight vibes in combination with like Geometry Dash, some Undertale(?), and JSaB (Bossfight specifically).
This is beautiful and I look forward to more
DAMN THAT DROP DOES SO HARD
Love this!!! Looking forward to more :)
Pretty sick original track
This sounds awesome, eager to hear more!

Got the notification
Forgot about it
Saw the community post
Came back to support you and give it a chance
P.S. that beat drop at 1:11 was insane
This is a really cool track! Reminds me of shovel knight's ost, but more somber and/or creepy
I feel if Shovel Knight and Celeste had a musical baby, it would be this composition. It’s great!
Alright, I would buy this imaginary game for the music.
I love this! It’s got Undertale vibes
Sounds Very Good! Great Job!
This is so good
This is so crazy awesome!
Yo this song goes hard
OH YEAH!!
This is such a creative idea for a project.
ARISE NOW, YE TARNISHED
Always exciting to see a brand new composition from The Noble Demon themselves!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA dun dun daaaaa~ da dun da daaaaaaaaa~ !!!!!!
It's amazing! 🤩🤩🤩
Please continue with the project! This is only a glimpse of future songs that you do with so much quality, effort and care... Keep in mind that you already have people who will listen to your projects breathlessly ✨🫂✨
Looking forward to listening for more "NECROMANCY"!!
I am positively surprised
I mostly listen to the Zelda soudntracks so I came in expecting a similar vibe (the instrumentation is what I mean)
But I love THIS!
Gives me Shovel Knight vibes (I mean this very much so as a compliment).
The start reminds me of The Frostlands from Octopath Traveler and Icey Ridge from Stone Story
I could see this being in Mina the Hollower very vibey
This goes way too hard for a title theme
Seems like a song fitting for a climax
Interested in more!
How very Touhou. I approve.
You take commissions?
Oh... creepy.
Thank you for this. it's very beautiful and i can't wait for more 🫶
