    can you measure dc voltage with the clamp or do you have to use the test leads?

      Leads are used to measure voltage whether is DC or AC . Clamp is only used to measure amps .

      So you can read DC amps with the clamp

    Why does it have a 0.1 or 0.2 reading ? Mine does the same

      The answer to that is complex and I am not entirely sure what it is. I think the meter is picking up stray currents from the wiring in the walls. What I do know is that if you press the zero button before you take the measurement that makes it go away.

      @@BayAreaMountainBikerr used to be a common practice for kitchens to have split wired receptacles I'll be making a video about it some time in the near future
