Impressive! It's usually not a good idea to kill the battery. The life of the battery could be extended if the user doesn't let the battery go below 20%. *
very nice Im in North Idaho & checking out the FLX my interest is in the FLX5 step thru I like the idea of the mid drive! im hoping it to be a logging road rider. my thought is it will do it as Logging trucks have gone there. (?) a step thru? just because im 63 & have both types & I prefer the step thru on my hub drive ebikes. of course Im also thinking of the touring package. and hope the step thru has thhe same brakes, clutch derarler as yours.
Check out their new Moon Rider, which I believe is their replacement to the Step Thru Model. It has the same motor as F5 Trail and it also comes with front and rear racks.
That's pretty impressive. Curious what your impressions are for the F5 as just a normal bike? Components look good--much better than the lower-end bikes with Tourney and non-branded parts.
To be used as a normal bike I'm extremely happy with the F5. It's very powerful, it has a solid drivetrain, great range, great brakes, and just the components feel really nice for the price that Superhuman is asking for the bike. My main bicycle discipline is mountain biking and since I was so impressed by how the bike rode, I did a couple of upgrades to make it better off road. But I think if you're looking for a solid e-bike with great power, range, and build; I don't think there's a lot bikes that can complete with the F5 at this price range, especially since it's only $2,199 on their website right now. Thanks for the question!
I personally like the Summit 1 better. It has so many more cool features (cadence & torque sensor modes, Apple Find My, 15 levels of assist, over the air firmware updates, nicer display, more customizability, ability to choose between C1 C2 and C3 ebike, etc.) and I personally think it's just a nicer bike. If want a bike more for mtb'ing the F5 Trail is better due mostly to its mid drive motor (better weight distribution), better drivetrain, and much burlier brakes. But if you're looking for a bike to ride on the road, dirt paths, and occasional beginner level mtb trails; I like the Summit 1. I just reviewed the Summit 1 and it's on my channel if you want my in-depth impressions. Hope this helps! :)
@@DouglasRobbin If riding the trails I'm riding, yeah the F5 with some minor upgrades is a better bike. I should have my upgrade video out soon, just haven't had the time with product coming in and it being so hot outside.
I'm seeing if I can get my hands on one to test, just waiting to hear back from them. But just by googling, I couldn't find any website or RUclipsr who's tested it yet

@@BikeHombre 500 watt motor on the moon rider - pretty skinny tires for my trail n dirt road use.

How would you compare this to the Velotric Summit 1? For mtb’ing and general use
I personally like the Summit 1 better. That’s why I asked! I’d be using it for mtb’ing and some around town. Would you still prefer the Summit1 after the upgrades you made to the F5?
I’m in SD and will be riding the same trails as your trail video
@@DouglasRobbin After the upgrades (dropper, air fork, handlebars, shorter stem) I think the F5 is a much better bike, especially for mtb'ing.

Had anyone tested the super human moon rider
