- A lot of people seemed to enjoy my videos on MarsCat, so I decided to do one on metaCat too! I will probably feature metaCat in a therapy robot overview at some point in the future. Are there any other robots that you'd like to see featured on this channel?

MarsCat almost seems a little jelly every time you pet MetaCat it’s super adorable their behavior
The Marscat looks like it's working out well. It seems like it's doing better autonomously.
I love your robotic cat! Tell me it is not the Marscat that costs 1200 dollars. I love the meowing! Thank you for these videos. I miss my kitty, but am enjoying having a chance to clean and paint my walls without someone peeing on them.

Thanks for a lovely video. I have a silver and white Joy for All cat and the second gen ragdoll Metacat. The paw pads on Metacat are much softer and I prefer that one. Both robot cats feel soft to me, but Metacat is even softer and is more plush. I enjoy the meowing, purring, and the goofy eyes. Makes me smile 😊 Mine has a port and cable for charging. It came without screwdriver and instruction book though. I looked on videos for instructions.🎉😊
Yeah. Metacat is way better than Joy for all cat.
All kitties like boxes, use for hiding and playing in, eating the cardboard and ripping it up, hours of fun to be had

I think metacat shouldn't make such weird sounds as purring. I have 2023 version and it is purring as a cat. The chin sensor is pretty slow. You have to push it harder under metacats chin than it binds it head towards your hand. In the 2023 version are also voice commands and heart sounds/feels while you touch/pet him on itd back. Im very courios what be the next version. I would like that it has more touch sensors, longer purring periods, open/close eys as paro and maybe open/close mouth as joy for all cats. Purr sounds and meowing are already perfect. Oh yes- also it should be a bit heavier 2,5 -3kg. If it would cost circa as mars cat or a bit more it would make a huge sucess.

Looks very similar to the Joy for all cat, was it made by the same people or inspired by it or was it just a coincidence?
I know this is a super old comment but the Meta Cat is made by a company called Elephant Robotics and a plush toy company Chongker. Joy for all cat is made by the company Hasbro but Meta Cat is more realistic

I think the lint roller might be for you. Lol! If this kitty is like the joy for alls, they will shed. Not 100% sure, but that’s what I think. The brush is to clean the cat. I guess the brush is for her fur and keep it nice and smooth.
Haha, you’re probably right! My metaCat does shed a bit, but it hasn't been too bad so far (at least I haven’t had to use the lint roller on myself yet). I remember the first batch of Joy for Alls didn’t come with brushes, but they shed so much out of the box that they were added in with later batches. I think Joy for All's fur texture is a little softer than metaCat's, but they're not that different.

Do you know how to lower the volume on the Metacat? Mine meows really loudly and I live in an apartment with a strict no pets policy and poor sound insulation. My downstairs neighbor complains about every little sound, and she is likely to "report" me to the manager for "having a cat", which would be a hassle.
You can use the voice command "Metacat Volume Down"
Which one do you have? If it's the 2023 you can just say Metacat, volume down and he should lower his meow. Key word there is should. Mine sometimes is like I'm not gonna do anything LOL

Hi does the MetaCat have motion or sound sensor?
The 2023 version of MetaCat has sound sensors and a rechargeable battery. 2 different versions. The older version is touch sensor only and uses 4 c batteries.

Metacat is designed to look and feel as realistic as possible for elderly people suffering with Alzheimer’s, dementia, etc. Fur real friends are just toys for kids

YIKES WHY WASTE SO MUCH TIME ON GETTING THE BOX OPEN,..WHO CARES!!!! YUCK a long haired cat? REALLY? Most of my real cats, were short haired. Umm,..not liking it one bit! This fake cat is crap! Will not replace a live cat. C'mon, better fur please, better eyes, too. This is never going to work. When I am brain dead,.....well maybe I won't remember how lovely my real cats were. That other cat is even worse,....They make fake humans robots that almost life like,....this cat is crap! I had stuffed animals as a kid that were way more realistic, and those I had to use my imagination, to make them real,.....in my mind. These can't be state of the art,....both are terrible. imo
