    I love the way Sheila Walsh did not try to hide her emotions. She allowed her pain to show and still remained professional through the whole interview. Everyone has been affected by death and you can’t always control the emotions on camera. Sheila was showing her heart and it touched my heart to watch this.

    Great interview! I cried through most of this interview. My wife passed away in September 18, 2018.
    She was a great wife, mother, grandmother. We were married 38 1/2 years. My wife faithfully served her
    purpose in this life. She is now with the Lord! Jonathan, you and your beautiful family will be in my prayers.

    "I don't know i could do it without Jesus " that statement coming from such a young girl is just amazing! Wynter and her husband did a great job raising these girls. they brought them up in the ways of the Lord and they will never depart from it. They are a perfect example for all parents to follow. I see Jesus in Alena.

    And yes, the kind of gospel we need! This was more than an interview, it was a preaching on it's own. No prayer, prophecies, or "I receive" and so forth was said. But how many hearts were touched by this preaching?
    PREACHING IS NOT ONLY ON THE PULPIT, MAN. IT'S NOT ONLY IN CHURCH. Let your behaviors preach as a child of God.
    Forgive me, I didn't mean to offend no one.
    May the grace of the Lord be with us all.

    I came across this interview after hearing the song, Wynter's Promise by Kirk Franklin. As I listened to the words of the song over and over again, especially the plea for heaven to be real, I cried. I knew this song was real - it had to have a real meaning. A purpose. This had to have been someone's life. I endeavored to learn about the person who would have such an impact. Of a truth I've never heard of or knew Ms. Wynter but one thing is for certain, her ministry reached me. I trust her legacy will never be forgotten. Thank you Mr. Pitts, Alena and the Evans family for sharing this intimate part of your life with me. Thank you for your strength and your courage in addition to your ability to continuously introduce others to Ms. Wynter but more importantly, for introducing them to the one who have captured her heart and have maintained her love, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Praying for you even now, 2 years later. Sis Tammy

    Jesus made us so we only borrowed our life to Jesus so he is the only one who have the right to take our life beside ,all of us will die..
    We are in a safe place .as long us we are with Jesus,in heaven so as long as when we died we are in heaven we live with Jesus Its very bad for Jesus when he sufferred so much for us because was tortured so many times and was killed s when was hang in the cross, but its the best thing for us because he took our sins, sickness . So a bad thing resulted to a good thing ,
    Jesus took our sickness and sins when he went in the cross so sickness and sins came from evil and not Jesus because Jesus will not let us sufferred. Lack of faith in Jesus healing ability is the reason why people died of disease

    Its amazing how much people don't understand how important shoes can be for a person. Especially depending on where you live there are some places where you can't even go outside because you don't even have a pair of flip-flops to where and some places where people live and reside at a place where water is extremely scarce. People have to gather around the watering hole in groups just to shower, and some of those people who don't even have any shoes to wear their can possibly get an serious infection or maybe even something worse. I was once at a place like that I had a pair of flip-flops to where but it was still so unclean that I ended up getting MRSA which is a flesh eating bacteria that lives in your blood stream and you have it for life. I get a break out every 1-2 years where I have to physically go to the urgent care and have it cut out of my body because antibiotics have no affect on this type of infection.

    The Bible does not support that we go to heaven when we die. The Word of God says in Ecclesiastes 9:5, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, because the memory of them is forgotten." We really need to know the Word for ourselves. No disrespect to well-meaning pastors who teach otherwise, but the Bible is clear. I am so very sorry for her death, it was clearly a huge loss. And I've buried my middle son, so I'm not speaking as though I haven't lost someone very close to me. It's just not doctrinally sound to believe that anyone is in heaven looking down on us. The Second Coming of Christ is to raise the Righteous dead as found in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 "16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

    • @lifetodaytv
      @lifetodaytv  4 года назад +16

      The Ecclesiastes reference, if taken solely and literally would mean there is nothing after death. However, the second scripture you cite only squares with the first when it is taken in context and in light of Christ's life, which had not happened when the OT was written. If those of faith who died prior to Christ were "asleep" and resurrected as referenced in Matthew 27 and that resurrection was spiritual, then it lends to the idea of an immediate transfer of the spirit to God's presence upon death, which squares with Paul's comment that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8). Those who ascribe to a futurist view of the Thessalonians passage view that as a physical resurrection, not a spiritual one.

    • @SongbirdGLS
      @SongbirdGLS 4 года назад +2

      @@lifetodaytv That is the seminary version. But a thorough study of all scripture on the subject does not support this. If that were true then preachers have paced nearly everybody in Heaven already...there would be no need for judgment. Sorry, but that isn't biblically sound. It makes you feel better about death, but the Bible is clear if it's not reinterpreted. People take figurative texts for literal and vice versa. The thief on the cross didn't go to heaven right then...why not? Because Jesus didn't go. We can agree to disagree, for the Holy Spirit is the true teacher and when Jesus returns to do just what the Word says, it'll be clear enough to all. God bless.

    • @lifetodaytv
      @lifetodaytv  4 года назад +14

      @@SongbirdGLS I'm not sure which seminary you are referring to since they don't all teach the same thing, but no, that is not from any particular seminary. There is disagreement among godly scholars on various details. There will be disagreement among people. Just be careful to avoid the pride that says, "I'm always right, you are deceived, now I'll belittle you." Let's disagree with respect.

    • @maranatha5819

      I believe the Bible is describing those people who have left this life...died in Christ.
      The bible is making a distinction between those who died in Christ and those who didn't. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all died, but look what God says about that in the book of Matthew.
      Matthew 22:31 kjv...But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
      Now I don't know if their location is in heaven, but this scripture makes it clear that they are not dead.
