- With the new Scream movie hitting theaters on January 14th, I got the opportunity to talk to the film’s stars including Jenna Ortega, Mikey Madison and Sonia Ammar. Of course, avoiding spoilers was a top priority during this pre-release chat so I opted to lean on scenes we’ve seen in the film’s trailers, and that meant a certain scene featuring Ortega as Tara was fair game.
Yes, I’m well aware that there’s a whole lot of speculation regarding whether or not that particular scene, which is featured heavily in the movie's promotional campaign, is the film’s opening kill scene. Have no fear! This interview does not address whether or not that’s the case. We only discuss the technical challenges of filming such a set piece.

Mikey Madison is a gem. Loved her in Scream and Once Upon A Time. Bright, bright future.
Talented actress fosho but she was miscasted. She played the same character in both movies and was sadly a dead give away from the very beginning.😬🤭

It's been long enough. I'm so glad Tara survived because she got wrecked this entire film, cementing Tara as one of the most badass survivors in the series. Jenna really brought it for this role and has the honor playing the first character to survive the opening, go on to be a red herring and be a final girl in one movie.
The very first time that I saw this movie was on Netflix. It was such a good movie for real. And this movie was first released 2 years 3 months and 1 week and 3 days ago in theaters.
I also liked Mikey the most in new Scream, she was great!

Scream 5 is the Best horror film in decades! Felt like the good old days of horror again growing up in the 70s and 80s. Finally its been way too long a horror film felt that way!

Kind-of interesting considering they filmed "I Know What You Did Last Summer," ie, the original Scream's competing horror film at the time, in Brunswick County just south of Wilmington. Figured it would be Wilm., NC, considering Wilm., DE would probably result in an actual horror story, being "Murder Town USA" and all...

SPOILERS for the worst movie in the franchise by far that it's impossible to spoil.
I hate how Mikey Madison it's so perfect for playing a killer because she looks so innocent and unsuspicious that you could never think of her as the killer, and yet they gave her so little screen time and such a badly written character that not only she was unable to appear unsuspicious, because she was barely in the movie, but her lack of screen time and character itself made her an obvious killer from the beginning.

Jenna gave a powerhouse performance. Mikey Madison is very talented and i love her charisma. I’m sorry but Sonia’s acting wasn’t it - could have been re-casted tbh (Emily Alyn Lind, Madison Iseman)
i feel like sonia's acting was okay, i feel like the writing of her character couldve been stronger though, im pretty sure she probably had more scenes that were cut but for the scenes she had she did decent, i mean especially for her first major role ever
