Hun. Been there. It is sooo hard. Please find a good gp, they can write you medical certificates to stop you having to focus on work so that you find a home first. 100% best wishes for you darling!! X
Ps though I'm straight, I'm made a great relationship with a *FREE* gp from a queer/ sexual health network that has drs and nurses. Try it out! Best of luck. 🫂
@ThePathwaytoHomelessness Oh my gosh I'm thoroughly thrilled for Jas. Gosh takes a lot of courage to advance from the street. I absolutely love your channel, and if I were in Melbourne, I would love to help you with your advocacy/ storytelling films. I'm in SA, and each day I travel through Adelaide.. I see more and more blankets/ street set ups where humans are living. It's heartbreaking. The government must hang their heads in shame for not doing more. But as a human walking by, I always give a smile at minimum or stop for a chat. What happend to public housing? What happened to the funding, not selling the homes off. I spoke with my father (mid 70's) about seeing more and more blankets about the CBD - he said in his era, there were no homeless set ups. The people struggling had somewhere to go. 🤷♀️ Please keep up your work. I love it. 👏👏
