    Say you're dealing with a sloped ceiling, how do you carry the ceiling lines over into the new room/closet?

    • @EstimateMastery

      You could copy + paste the prior room over and change the ceiling properties, if that makes sense? May need some clarification on your question :)

      Don Cunningham I am currently using xactmobile and it’s been giving me continuous ceilings if I add a subroom

    Do you have a method to draw a room with a cathedral ceiling?

    • @EstimateMastery
      @EstimateMastery  2 года назад +1

      You would need to go into the properties of the room, and change the ceiling type from Box to Peaked.

    Should we not make the closet and/or pantry a subgroup of the room they're already in? Wouldn't that make things easier down the road for scope or estimating?

      You absolutely should make the closet or pantry a subroom when creating the rooms - I just don't like to put too much info into my videos as people start to get overwhelmed. Good point for those that are advanced and know about subrooms!

      Your videos are awesome, by the way. Nice to be able to learn as quickly or as slowly as I want, just with pause and fast forward.

    i have a request any way you can make a round room i just cant figure it out

    • @EstimateMastery
      @EstimateMastery  7 лет назад

      You must sq break the wall and create a "pop out", then click on the properties of the wall on the outside of that pop out and choose "Arced Wall - Yes". You have to sq break and pop out all 4 walls if you want to create a perfect circle. I include training such as this in my online courses that I've created. Take a look at: www.xm8mastery.com
