Mate get Rex cooking in the bush more often! This could be the beginning of a big pivot in the channel direction.
Would definitely be more cost effective then building tanks 😂
Looking forward to your big desert vid. It’s a hidden gem that doesn’t get much air time. Some great tracks up there.
What a Surprise. Goon Bag Wine, tasting like Vinegar. Great travel Video. Love the scenery. Father and Son camping trip excellent.
😆 who would have thought!
Awesome content love it
Thanks Mike!
great clip guys. Dad cooking nice connection
Cheers Sebastian!
Same thing happened to us in July. NO GO from Finke to Birdsville but found some crazy places switching things up
In hindsight we would have done a million things differently, could have made a route work!
So relatable. Our trip impeded by exactly same weather event.
I started watching your trip so wanting to see the Canning thru your adventure.
Then you put up being impeded by cyclone IISA & I felt for you lot so much.
Thinks to myself, you're out there whilst I was in the centre.
Once you reevaluated to come back to the Simpson I says to myself that ain't gonna happen but gotta watch and see.
We were bush camping just east of Curtain Springs when IISA crossed over us.
Rained intently, hence little sleep, daylight revealed the extent of the rain, as we pushed from bush track to main road acting as a river bed, bloody hell.
Temps went from a 38° previous day to 17° that morning. Ahh, relief from the heat but felt bloody cold in comparison. Later in our travels we encountered a dingo sprawled out on his back on the bitumen. Figured he was cold and attempting to absorb heat from road surface, incredible, never seen that before.
Put in time at Kings Canyon, Uluru prior to heading back for our Simpson Crossing 5 days later. Still not happening, Simpson indefinitely closed and seeing the state of the vehicles that were released from Mt. Dare arriving at Kulgera, the damages encountered we call the crossing off. We headed sth to York & Eyre Peninsulas. Must have been about the time you were headed nth to Birdsville.
As a result of IISA our long planned Simpson trip didn't occur, bugger.
So, so appreciate your aerial footage, puts the whole thing into prospective.
This correlates to stories at Kulgera by those whom encountered IISA whilst in the desert, no where to camp as all low lying areas flooded and any high ground claimed by lucky ones.
Thanks, truly looking forward to your Flinders Rangers excursion now.
Wow thats a hell of story! Wild about the dingo on the bitumen... Bugger about your simpson trip as well - hopefully you get to do it soon!
I had taken my fam on a 15000km trip in a new van i built and an old landrover, up through NT, around, WA, across the nullabore, through SA, back to home in vic at the same time you guys were filming.
We were staying at lake argyle when the cyclone hit. We had to smash the kms out to pass fitzroy crossing before it flooded, so we missed the GRR.
Then i had to take extra fuel and find a new camp spot because pardoo got wiped off the map.
Was still a mad trip but.
haha that sounds like an experience, glad you had a good trip aall the same!
Great vid. Ced-una. Not Cedoona. 😂
Keep up the good work gents. Just found your channel and im binge watching it all well done. Wish ford would have given us poor bastards in the states the barra straight 6. I am Looking at ways to import one for my old bronco now. Old 300 6 on hulk hogan steroids. Im in love. .
That sounds like a ripping project. And yep I love my Barra!
Hey mate love the show got a question for u
Wat projecta did u buy and where from ? Thanks in advance
This one from Anaconda for $119 on club price!
Works really well but you need to have a USB/Laptop and the speakers are no good so you will need an additional speaker for it.

You're a very good engineer. But you need improve some cameraman shooting skills 😅
Haha thanks mate, this was an old video! Have tried my best to improve.
Longest straight road in the world? You have obviously never been to texas. 90 miles is a trip to the corner market and its all flat and straight and flat in west texas😂
Haha no I haven't! That sounds pretty boring if this one was anything to go by 🤣
