    It's two different colors because they activate each other. That is why it is able to harden within the socks, if not then you would just have clay in a sock

      It's because they don't cure unless they are really well mixed so they are different colours so you can see if they are properly mixed

      The 2 colours help you see if the 2 compounds are properly mixed together so they'll cure properly

      @@nro7276 that's to see if you have mixed correctly the two "clay"

    That has to be the most novel method I've ever seen to use 2 part silicone rubber putty. I use it to make molds for polymer clay...but toe pads for shoes... Novel and wild!
    Though if the ratios are off for mixing, the rubber can end up too hard to bend or too soft and not entirely set.

    It's not clay, it's a 2-part epoxy. You mix the two active ingredients right before molding because it sets up within 30 minutes.

    The two colors are different chemical compounds that when combined react with oxygen in the air! That’s why they’re kept separate

    You need 2 colors so you can see if you mixed them enough. Once the mixture isn't streaky, you know you're good. If both parts were the same color you'd risk undermixing and the final mixture might never cure or it moght not have the desired properties

    I am not a dancer but love ballet bc amazing, that being said I had NO IDEA this is what toe pads were. I thought they were just mini socks for your tootsies. Ofc there is something more in there! How interesting. Is this how all toe pads are?

    • @shannonrickard8605
      @shannonrickard8605 Год назад +4

      No, most are just like a little sock basically for your toes, made out of different materials. Different people like different materials. But these are neat because they're molded right to your toes, probably even eliminates the need for spacers if you do it right, but I've never used this kind so im not sure

    Do u have to be a certain size to be a ballerina 🩰?

    • @briannavelasquez9967
      @briannavelasquez9967 Год назад +2

      I used to be a ballerina for many years. You don’t “have to” especially now a days. But there can be eating disorders associated with being a ballerina. Depending on what school of dance you are in or what you do for work, there can be size or physical requirements unfortunately:/
