That was great! I had a similar contraption years ago, to dispense cigarettes, but it was not practical and only useful as a piece of conversation.
But to use it for toothpicks, is clever and useful. The only remark I have is the loading of toothpicks - you could make the top cover removable, kept in place with magnets or similar, to avoid touching the toothpicks when loading :-)

To use magnets for the lid is a very good idea
I think also that loading the picks without touching them too much is important.
I actually have that same toothpick dispenser 0:06 and same problem. I definitely would not mind this "unusual" bad ass one 👌🏻👍🏻. Awesome little project. I might give it a go as we have more than enough bubinga scraps that I have no idea what to do with. Thanks for the video and sharing your creation.

Can I just get the dimensions of the parts. Missed how to do that. Love the tooth pick holder/dispenser.

The first part was a fail, because I cut of the corners for a better design and then I realized, I need them for the slots

Ist schön zuzuschauen wie‘s gemacht wurde. Aber schade nachbauen kann man‘s nicht, da zu klein und man keine Bau-Anleitung hat mit Massangaben, Winkel, u.s.w.

A great gadget, I can see good uses for it around my workshop where I use toothpicks. A sketch with dimensions would be useful but I suppose it takes enough work to do the video. Love the music but can't remember what it is, Strauss I think.

@ Thank you Stephan. I was thinking of 'adding to' the design by fitting a couple of springs so that instead of pulling the 'roof' up you just push it down and release. Do you think it would work?
@@petercowell2051 It could work, but then you have to push down, take the toothpick and then release.

Die Befüllung hab ich noch nicht so richtig Verstanden. Muss man die Zahnstocher einzeln einlegen? Wäre nicht sehr hygienisch. Ganz im Gegensatz zur Ausgabe.
Man kann die Zahnstocher aus der Dose in den Schlitz gleiten lassen ohne das man sie anfassen muss.
Das ganze hat aber einen Haken. Man braucht viel mehr Zahnstocher als normal, da jeder das mindestens dreimal ausprobieren möchte, und wehe es sind Kinder oder Kindsköpfe dabei :)
