That savings challenge binder is soooo deliciously stuffed it's like an amazingly overstuffed burrito that is so delightfully bursting you know you're in for a good time as long as you have an antacid.
(Ok, the cash stuffing version is way better since there's no heartburn.)

Great bill stuff video. I do have a question, when you are putting the money in your checking and savings how do you keep track of what category it came from.
The placeholders in the envelopes tell me how much has come from each envelope.
And I have a separate savings account JUST for my savings challenges.
And another for sinking funds.
Then variable expenses just go in my regular checking.
As I spend, I just subtract from envelope.
I stopped… I clicked… I am watching loads of money being counted!!! This is great 🤩

I'm a new subscriber, but not new to budgeting..A couple of suggestions when you do bill exchanges, and use prop money you can use marker on some of your prop money and make them into $500&$1000 in prop money if you wanted to...
Also Walmart sells a bag of money wraps so you can wrap your money into $1000 $500, $100 $50 $20 $10 $5 $1s that way it is easy for the bank teller to count the money that's deposited into your bank account..
Also when you add up the remaining money in Trey and get your total you need to deposit, you should add up what you wrote down in the notebook just to make sure it matches, on camera so we all can see .

I know it is 4 months later but in your Monthly Party envelope you put one of your prop money in your REAL hundreds in your tray :) At least that is what it looked like. either way I do love a bill exchange!!

so how many binders do you suggest to keep up with a household of 5.
Too many variables for anyone to instruct you. You would have to do your budget and see where your numbers are. Get your spending habits on paper with your bills/ needs.
And some like to cash stuff bills- some don’t. It’s really however many envelopes you want to start with.

How do you not spend more than what each envelope has in it? Do you bring something to remind you that you need to keep your total in that amount or less? Also, what vinyl do you use for the labels? (: I've been cash stuffing since this January, but, not really successful because I always want or need something haha and it all usually goes to my new car envelope. But, I'm going to start saving a little more each month starting next month, it will be hard with Christmas and all though. Coming January I will start again fully.
If I said I never spent more than the envelope - I would be totally lying! 😂 Just the other day I cleared out my Boujie envelope on a new set of lashes. I do my best with each envelope - some do better than others. They basically keep me accountable. They help me know when I am tapped out.
April did my shiny blue/ green envelopes. I will have to ask her. I use Cricut vinyl. We are actually setting up an Amazon store and I’ll definitely add the vinyl in there so you can see it.
Keep trying with the saving- don’t get discouraged. It really does get better and easier! 💛
@@2SisterBees :p that's true. It's so hard not to spend more. Oh, I have a cricut too and I don't think I tried their vinyl like that, but other brands like that won't weed good for me. Just curious about your banking. Have you ever had a teller comment or ask questions?
They ask everyone that withdrawals cash what they are doing with it - I actually had this discussion on my last bill swap video.
It can be a bit annoying to someone who is withdrawing cash on a regular basis (like myself) but they are just doing their job.

You know what, I'm not mad I came across this video. Towards the beginning I was like why is she taking out hundreds to just replace them with hundreds? 🤦🏿🤣🤣🤣 Duh then I remembered she DID say the difference at the start. The fake hundreds and the real ones look a lot alike. I gotta get back to saving's challenges again. Anywho I love the video.

I most likely didn’t have any. Or I only had a few in this video, I think.
I actually stopped using prop money this year. I wasn’t doing too well with keeping track in my account what $ was from what category. I tried it and realized it just isn’t for me.

I actually just wrote down what I was depositing into each account - I know what each envelope has and keep track on those ledgers.
So if I take out, I will just adjust the prop money inside.

And follow up to that is when you get it into your account, how do you keep it there lol 😂😂
The difference with cash stuffing is that you have saved over time, held the money in your hands and have given it a specific place to go.
Once you do all that- you look at it differently. It’s not just numbers on a screen anymore- so spending it is A LOT harder! 💛💛💛

Why are u using prop money
Cash stuffers use prop money for a few different reasons.
1. The envelope can get too stuffed
2. Don’t want to have so much cash in the house
3. Just like to condense and keep envelopes easy to manage
When I first started I also didn’t quite understand why everyone was using prop money. Then when I needed to, I suddenly understood.
It’s a strange concept but it works! 💛🙌🐝
