Hell yeah! They’ve been my all time favorite since 2004 ever since I heard In Love and Death.
Gotta be honest with you, I wasn't too sold on their last couple records, not even Heartwork itself. Sure, they had a couple good tracks here and there, most notably 'Over and over again', but I was convinced they outran their potential after Vulnerable. the Deluxe heartwork tracks are definitely their best collection of songs in a decade
I mean, between The Canyon and now Heartwork (Deluxe), we have two double albums within 5 years. That's an INSANE amount of work they're put out there!

I listened to only rap until I heard their Berth album in 2007, and it literally changed my life!! The Used will always and forever be my favorite band of all time. I'll forever be grateful for this group of guys and how their music has helped me through some of the darkest times in my life! 🖤 #EMOKIDFOREVER

This song is absolutely gold. I have been in love with this band since hs. I did my guitar class diorama of a box full of sharp objects and got an A! I just out of curiosity came across the new album and I'm so happy! I feel like a piece of myself is whole again. I'm now a mother of 4 but had the biggest band crush on the used. I remember seeing them live in Sacramento when I was 17. I drive myself to see them and soasin. So happy I saw my dream band live as a kid! Lmk if you come to hawaii or Vegas I'll be there!!!

I love the song but I wanna know the meaning behind. It's not so clear to me.
It’s clearly about his alcoholism. He’s talking about the group of sober people / higher power that convinced him that there was a better way to live and think. And that happiness without vices like alcohol / substances in general DOES indeed exist…a person just needs to have faith, gratitude and hope in order to cross that bridge / find that rainbow of happiness. I think it’s a nod to those people who helped him understand this concept.

Used fan here. But the heavy use of autotune on the vocals is super distracting and unattractive? It can't just be me right ? Where's the gritty unpolished raw shit that we all love ? This feels like it was produced and engineered by hip hop and pop producers.
I agree. I still think the vocal and lyrics are pretty good but can do without this auto tune... It almost reminds me of a clash between pop and oldies.
I think running on an idea but pursuing who they originally are as poetic musicians, it must have been an attempt at something different or more of way to be positive. A lighter side to The Used. I'm a huge fan of The Used, I just don't like some stuff out of this new album. Maybe they felt rushed to put something out there or pushed by producers to change things about themselves.
