Great video and awesome series you've got here. That's cool you put Danger Girl on here! I just played the game for the first time earlier this year and I enjoyed it. It's a bit rough around the edges, but I enjoyed my time with it. It even made me seek out the comic it was based on lol. Another game I'd recommend for this entry is the FMV horror game simply titled 'D'.
And yes, Arale is from original DragonBall, which is a delightful show. It was a genuinely fun and good spirited adventure story. Definitely intended for a younger audience, but still perfectly enjoyable for anyone. And the english dub was actually really well done for the most part. Long before the funimation crew devolved into what they are now. A better show, from a simpler time. It's a long one, I think having 168 episodes before making the transition to the "Z" era, but well worth it for anyone who wants a thoroughly fun, heartfelt martial arts adventure.
I played Deathtrap Dungeon back in the day and decided to buy it for PC! It plays just the same, though visuals are improved a bit as I could get filtered textures and higher resolution; but the jerky framerate is about the same. Though very rough around the edges even for those days' standards, I really dig the game's atomsphere! Keep the series going, the videos are really great and I look forward to a PS2 series as well! Cheers!
I have vague memories of owning the big box version for the PC... but I might be making that up. This is a fun series to do. I was debating a PS2. I don't actually have much experience with it though, so would be a nice way to discover some mad games for it.
@@thereviewsbrothers3854 Definetely! The ridiculously huge PS2's library has lots of great unknown games to discover! Another interesting series of videos that you could try would be a "terrible games" for PS1, as I think the theme would perfectly fit your sense of humor!
Ian Livingstone authored a series of fighting fantasy game books. Death trap Dungeon was originally one of these. Island Of The Lizard King was another one
Some of these were unknown to me, and Disruptor looks very nice indeed! I´m a bit curious about old pixel-FPS gams, too bad this seems to be pretty sought after and expensive.
Wait, Ian Livingstone? As in Ian Livingstone from Games Workshop? Yeah, I am correct. The same one that also wrote Fighting Fantasy series, which the game is apparently part of.

Deathtrap Dungeon looks fun

Divers dream changed my life. Game needs to be more recognized
Dragon Valor, my favorite.
Yeah this was the first time I’d played it. It’s so easy to get into. Really fun game.

Become a pirate. Play on PC. 😎
DarkStone rocks!
Yeah "DarkStone" thats the one, I remember playing and dying a lot. Danger Girl looks like a Syphon Filter clone but with b00bz.

According to Wikipedia, the one and same, yes 😊. In fact I actually have two of his role playing books. They are great.
Came here looking for Destrega, I don't see people talking about this open 3d fighter often. Check it out if you havent.
You had me at Danger Girl! That’s not entirely true, not-Diablo looked okay… great reviews TRB
