It's funny how, more than the giant polar bears, dinosaurs and dragons etc., the scariest chase is running from a cartoon-y walrus-chef. The music, the camera shaking, the claustrophobic environment, Rusty's taunting, the difficulty, the fact Rusty can just totally No Sell Nitro Crates... yeah, that sequence is memorably tense, my personal favourite chase level in the series.

"Un-Bearable" was my favorite of the three chase levels from Crash 2. Got to ride Polar at the end, hsd a secret area (which I didn't know for years), and a secret portal to unlock "Totally Bear".

I'm speedrunning Crash 2 (or at least I'm getting into it), and I can't even tell you how painful these levels get. Like, they're already a bit challenging on it's own, but trying to beat them as fast as possible without being able to see anything in front of you - OH BOY, that's a whole new level.
From a game design perspective, what do you think is more important? Being able to see how far away you are from whatever is chasing you or being able to see where you're going? I know that the designers made Crash face the camera in these chase levels because it was the beginning of 3D gaming and they wanted to make sure the players know what his face looks like but don't you think it's bad game design from nowadays' perspective? Also, some of the bonus sections are really hard to find. How was I supposed to find them?

Twinsanity is one of the best and most innovative Crash games ever made. I would be so happy if Vicarious will remaster that piece of my childhood.
