I always found it very ironic that Ice-T made a song called "Cop Killer" that had the media going NUTS (Huge controversy) and ended up on a police procedural. Life is strange that way I suppose...
I keep saying the writers need to focus on Ice more. Rollins got her big storyline with the baby. Carisi got his trying to be a lawyer. Barba had his last season with the race stuff. Even Amaro had the whole divorce situation. So where is Tutuola’s moment?
He technically did with his son being gay but I see what you're saying. I feel like we didn't get any backstory on Carisi except for the lawyer and that was a short stint. I'd love to know about his love life.
There was a whole thing with his family a while back (this was way back, I think Novak was still the DA), when his son was found looking for a body that a cousin had told him about, that went for an episode or two and was brought back up with the trial several episodes later.
I'll be honest SVU has really gone downhill since season 8/9, but Ice T is the main reason I still watch it. His character has remained the same after all these years and he's still a joy to watch
NelC He is such a rarity in Hollywood and 'in the hood' they need to put him in a time capsule. He needs a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame like Susan Lucci.
If your one of those people born AFTER the show, Ice-T was REAL and cool way back when. Not a fake wannabe rapper or gangsta' like the punks that are claiming to be lyricist today. He hasn't changed one bit.---love it!!!
I remember I was six years old I watched my first episode of law and order with my grandma...it was a step up from "murder she wrote" so she didn't want me to get scared. But I wasn't and we watched it anyway 😂. But I always remembered the red haired lady, I was so young I didn't even know her name. But years later I rekindled my love for SVU I always think about my grandma and me.
LittlepipMLP that’s like saying Kelli Giddish has been on the show for over ten years (or when ever she originally guess stared) or Peter Scanvino has been on the show for 7 or so years. Like he is an OG but the movie is diffident and he didn’t play Fin. Like Richard Belzer played Munch prior to svu. But they were also talking about SVU specifically
When Conan hosted he talked about Charlton Heston, who was a critic of his & the president of the NRA. They were next 2 each other on the freeway & one of Ice's boyz wanted 2...u know. Ice stopped him. He said Moses doesn't know I saved his life. Talk about irony.

a Washington Yup. ..irony
I don't mind since they're going after pedos and molesters. Everyone's against those.
Probably took it on cause he can play a cop that is actually trying to protect the people
It's crazy how these hard ass rappers have mellowed with age.
A widening perspective and money will do that for you. I just hope other young cats realize this and take note.
I don't know.
He's still kicking ass with Body Count.
This guy is so honest.
His laugh gives me life.

@@ashleeyv we’ve gotten carisi stuff tho? we got the episodes regarding his sister, and his struggle with Catholicism, and now we have him as an ADA.
Ice T still talks like it's the 80s
Akbar most his slang was late 90's though
You know what I'm sayin?
Akbar What's CRACKIN'.!!!!

Thanks Ice T, I'm 20 and I love SVU. Now I feel like an infant.

"... or like when someone plays too many scratchy lotteries?"

If you have a drink every time Olivia Benson says "I'm so sorry", you'd be drunk forever.
Ice T is god damn hilarious

Nineteen years? Good work if you can get it.

I'm 24 so I have been watching this show for the majority of my life
bring back meloni and bd wong
Damn, BD left? I mean, I guess he has that Mr. Robot money, but I liked him on SVU.

"One years old". English is T's second language: Gangsta, his first.
Ice does a great job every time he's on with Seth.
Imagine Magic Mike but with Ice-T
Ice T's real good on Law & Order, great show
I am shockeddddddddd...ICE T is HILARIOUS
Oh, I love 'Emmy type acting'.
I didn't imagine Ice T was so awesome hahaha, this was great!
He's such a great Metal vocalist.
Love me some Ice T!!!!
Great, great drama series!
when i think of Ice-T as a cop, it's like imagining Ricky Gervais as the Pope :)
How did I arrive here? A random RUclips rabbit hole led me to this and I watched the entire thing but have no idea why. Lol.
Oh man he's so fuckin cool. Hard to believe most fans have no memory of his music career. And his wife... damn
can’t watch this without thinking about john mulaney’s bit
Welcome home, Water-T
It's time to crunch the numbers!
He hasn’t been on for 19 years he started season 2. Mariska is the true OG

Ice was on the last few episodes of season 1
Tank Girl's so good.
Yeah bodycounts in the house!
Rhyme pays!
The only thing I remember from the show is the intro.
Love this guy tho, great vibes.
Nice to see an honest guy...
And this is why we ride!

Love Ice to def! I remember when he took the job I was just discovering COP KILLER.
What a cool dude
Nope, I'll always know him from the movie Colors. \m/
clip ended with Meyers's unenthusiastic, "... that's wonderful.."
Johnny mnemonic!!
Like when someone bets the house on the ponies
Well I'm 37 years old
Colors
M M colors, colorsCOLORS
How did u not ask him if he went to his sons party as a kangaroo
From "Colors" to cop....Can you say Irony?
sleazy
Oh sh*t I remember that movie! It was terrible...
Strange that a nearly 60 year old man still refers to himself and people still address by his 25 year old rap name
Shawn How exactly is that strange? You don't know any older people that still go by childhood nicknames?
Shawn it’s rad. Not strange.
Worst actor in the history of network TV and did it for 19 years good job I guess
