Country Roads travel blog ( Broken Hill to Tibooburra )

Finally the 331 kms Road between Broken Hill and TIbooburra has been sealed. There is only 1 stop where you can stop on the way to Tibooburra and that is Packsaddle road house. Packsaddle road house is about 175 kms north of Broken Hill and is home to Mia and Arnie. This year has been lucky so far in the way of receiving some good rains in the outback. On our way to Tibooburra we came across some stunning landscapes. We were very lucky to witness some of the beautiful wild flowers in the area. We had overcast weather most of the day but it was very pleasing on the eyes to drive. We stopped at the Packsaddle Road house to get fuel and feed. Arnie and his family welcomed us. The meals were very well done and my beer was cold and I enjoyed everything about this place. Great hospitality was displayed by the owners and the staff. Must visit place when you are travelling through this area.
