The farming style should pretty much always be better / consistent for the jungle player imo the problem is that in solo queue you have to deal with players not understanding this as they get ganked by a level 2 Vi and spam "jungle diff" from the death screen lol
It´s horrible having games like this, you can´t literally do nothing but to try to compensate the gold they give, because they won´t stop pushing, they won´t stop dying, they won´t change their build for a lost lane, nothing ,
The videos on when to farm or gank and when to leave the farm to help the team really helped. First time really playung ranked in 3 years of playing league and currently silver 4 with a 88% wr at 7-1 spamming graves and briar
damn, I started playing in November or late October and im currently hard stuck bronze 4 because I can't seem to carry as hard as I need too. I have way more game knowledge than most ppl at my rank cos of videos and I focus on improving and I basically always do really well but I always get feeding, afk, inting, trolling teammates and even though I basically always get Ace I can't seem to carry like half my games
Briar - How are you playing them in this sense? I've just picked her up, and I find that the W is really clunky and the mechanic to cancel it sometiems gets me into trouble. I'm playing her mainly lethality
I actually like her more with titanic hydra into clever into whatever, you can fight more without dying, I feel like if you go assassin you can one shot anyone but then you die and get bursted down is a second. Same as you tho I always forget to use e to stop my W and then accidentally go somewhere I dont wanna. Iv generally had good success with bruiser briar tho. I stomped most of my games and my only loss I tanked 80k damage and dealt a ton as well, like 40k. So your also useful even if your kinda behind@@EUSafeguard
@claudeheinrich3613 make sure to watch your own gameplay too. Reviewing your own games and seeing what you did wrong or what you could have done right is more helpful than watching others videos. I'm not a super high rank buy I am emerald so I guess that's something.
yeah I definitely will and only play a few games in a row, as I often see my performance declining until I autopilot when I play more than 3 games in a row@@Jarrett1994
Been spamming Bel veth or Kayn. Came back from a 1 year break and i'm plat already with 65 % winrate. I focus mainly on farmin, ganking only when its on my route and objectifs are my priority number 1. The little spermy thing are so broken.
I actually find myself taking the first grub spawn and giving the first drake in most of my games. The way I think about it is this: as long as I can keep them from getting 5 or more grubs, then I'm in the clear. I have no problem giving the second grub spawn to catch up on farm and drakes
I didn't understand what does that table at 0:17 mean If briar is easy ganking/invading jungler, does that mean that she mostly ganks but no that much as hard ones?
I just started playing about 2 weeks ago, completely new never even looked into it. The video “I’m still here” had me try the game, I enjoy it. There is a TON to learn, and a ton of champions to play. Being new I chose jungle due to being left alone and que times are really low, the macros are good, however it’s the movement I’m still learning, dragging camps to far and then them being tethered, getting gapped just due to skill and experience. I really enjoy bel’veth, however my play style is too aggressive. I tried playing Yasuo jng, and it’s really tough until level 8-9. (2 items). I enjoy poppy as well just due to the scaling and I feel more impactful at late game, Rengar is too tough for me right now, I understand the principle but it’s just too much while I’m still resetting camps as I learn macros. On to my question, besides Poppy/rammus, what should I play? I hear don’t do jungle but I really enjoy it, I also like bot and top, I haven’t tried mid yet, but you always queue quick with jng, What I’m looking for is something that doesn’t go splat in late game, as I have yet not had a game be done in under 20 mins, it doesn’t have to be strong, just not fall off, I’d like a melee play style as I do pokes with any mage or distance characters. TLDR : I want to play a jngler where I can just drool and face roll on my keyboard and focus on my macros and not get dumpstered late game. Who should I start with?
What if the enemy jungler is a perma invade/ganking jungler who also scales super hard(jax), I played against a jax today who invaded without prio all game , died on repeat, and despite me being ahead on lillia early, he completely killed my tempo and despite him dying on repeat, his invades wasted so much of our time eventually it worked and he got some gold and did jax things. Felt like I was playing against inting sion, but in the jungle.
I used to like ganking junglers more but now with the current meta I am leaning more to Nocturne or Vi style of farm, get some ganks but not too much and then spyke at level 6. Good ganking junglers at lvl 3 like Xin Zhao or J4 are amazing when executed properly but I feel like they: 1) Are volatile, you depend on a lot of factors like your laners, and an early gank can end up in a double kill or in the worst case recalling and finding yourself counterjungled and already behind. 2) Need to be always ahead in gold or you are useless: you can end up getting very fed and then give a massive 700g shutdown to the enemy Vayne and then it's GG, good luck with your J4.
there is 2 game breaking plays. at around 5:00 heca should cover his bot and take his bot camps. Why does he run mid??? at 7:20 - if he kills xin here, xin is out of the game, it was a very close fight, Janna misplayed it and overall the support gap in this game was so huge. Blitz roams and Janna doesnt ward properly. Without any question Hecarims playstyle is a lot better. 1-2 small changes in this game and xin falls so far behind, that he has no more impact in this game. I guess in very low elo this shitfest ganking style can work out. To me it always feels like putting a bet on the enemy team being bad. Even now with the new map I am surprised how little effects it has on laners being too stupid and dying to ganks.
I love that my fiddlesticks does not show in any videos of tips nor "How to Play" videos. It makes me think really hard to know what's the best stretagy and etc. And the best part it's the "Meta junglers" doesn't know how to deal with my champion =3 Your advices are really good tough, this more general tips are really good to make the base of a really good jg. Nice Work ❤
Im used to every game all 3 lanes losing me winning against jgler but since all lanes losing enemy jgler ends up winning and we lose and idk how the fk to avoid that..... i try helping and get my teammates ahead an then they just fk it right back up like at this point it doesnt matter what i do as a jgler.....
Too funny, I just wrote a comment on the S14 best jungles video asking this question is it a ganking META? Whipping together a video just to answer my question in 2 hours no less. What a guy Virkayu!
depends on your skill level. 1-3 champs max. learn fundamentals. 1 AD - 1 AP would be good. If you struggle when to gank and when to farm, select champs that have a crazy fast clearn, like Karthus, Brand, Hecarim. By clearing and sequencing your camps very fast and efficiently, you buy youself time to help teammates, because there are no camps to farm for 30 sec. Also you will almost never fall behind yourself by doing this. If Hec covered the botgank at 5:00 and did not run mid without any reason xin is almost out of game. His botlane is stronger, and he has still 2 botcamps up.
I'd say the opposite. Ganking junglers require one thing: confidence. Sometimes taking action as an aggressive jungler means coinflipping (you can't fully trust your teammates' ability in SoloQ), which means you have to give up on securing income (farming camps) to take the risk on the kill. The best choice for beginners are farming junglers, because you can learn the basics of gold efficiency with camp sequences. And once you've learned it, you can be sure you're not gonna fall off as a ganking jungler if your ganks are not that efficient.
Also, take Jungler with easy kits. Nothing mechanical complicated that takes off attention from the macro part of the Game. Warwick, Trundle and Nocturne are all great picks for starters. Strong Fighters, easy abilities with good amount of forgiveness for bad decisions while fighting.
I play hecarim and have an average of 700 gold lead in the early game and usually get way more cs but still Gank. But often even though I have a lead im scared to go in and fully commit to fights because if I die then we loose the entire game with my trash teammates who will just die with a lead. Even though this does lead to me loosing like 50% of my games and always getting Ace and average 4.7 KDA. Recently iv been trying to push my lead more.@@RinzlerLegacy
@@Kerdtress as a ww main - this is not a noob friendly champ at all. you can do insane plays by holding his Q, knowing when to pop W or when not to, hold E or use it for fear asap, opening with ult or keeping it for when you're low. why does every jungler video talk as if your teammates don't exist. The ganking jungler is also helping their team get ahead in their lane, which somehow isn't even mentioned in this video. So basically, the ganking jungler gets to the same strength as the farming one, but is also helping their teammates become stronger, so in that scenario the ganking jungler has done better.
TO be completely honest... This Xin did not win those fights because of gold lead or good decisions or smart jungling... He just won because he is Xin... No more, no less. They literally do. It shows you don't value Hecarim... if he LITERALLY had the same gold? He also wins those fights. Not because Xin. Yes, he's strong. GANKING JUNGLERS tend to be stronger at those spikes with gold and abusing items. But Hecarim? He would do the same thing in the reverse situations! His XP value did not equate to the Gold value (items) and his items are also very strong. If principles never applied to balanced champs - why do I have success with Zyra jungle using the same ones? I know Xin wins in those situations so I avoid them... Hecarim made mistakes and didn't. That's the point. Neither played perfectly and that was also the point.
@@virkayu The concepts don't apply to Xin though. I don't disrespect Hecarim. I am saying Xin doesn't care... Hecarim can do nothing to a Xin. There are very few champs that can stop a Xin from doing whatever he wants on the whole map... And they weren't in that particular game.
