Great recording, thank you for uploading! I'd personally would date the recording as 1962
On 17:38 there is a poster for "The Apartment" "La Garçonnière", a film that was released in Japan in late 1960, and then a poster for "Tales of Paris" ("Les Parisiennes") released on 1962
On 14:22 there also a mention of upcoming Olympics, Tokyo was chosen as a host city on May 26th 1959
There's also other locations featured outside Tokyo
On 6:07 there's what seems like Tsurugaoka Hachimangū in Kamakura, and on 6:10 it's a Giant Buddha at Kōtoku-in in Kamakura
On 19:40 there's the torii of Itsukushima Shrine near Hiroshima, with a few other shots of Itsukushima afterwards

Before the war in Japan, the subway and transportation network had already developed.
It will be possible to recover in five years, two years after the big earthquake and tsunami.
In the first place, the story of The Last Samurai in the American movie is anachronistic, and it's all crap.
In 1570, 300,000 rifles were used in Japan.
      Not taught by Americans.

Judging from designs of automobiles and Tokyo Tower (which was constructed in 1958.), this movie was shot not in 1950`s but in 1960`s.

A male announcer said," Corporal punishment is unknown among children of Japan." It`s not true. Physical punishment was quite common at school in 1960`s and 70`s when I was a Japanese schoolchild. Even today, authoritarian teachers often inflict corporal punishment on their pupils.

The outbreak of the Korean War was a pump priming for Japan`s economic recovery. But South Korea was also benefitted from the Vietnam War, and a lot of Vietnamese women were raped by the South Korean soldiers. Many children who were born between South Korean Marines and Vietnamese women were abandoned by their Korean fathers. They are called Lai Dan Han.
