1:20 Funny that Paula says that one of Depeche Mode songs sounds like Gary Glitter sound/stlye. Martin Gore from Depeche Mode is or was a massive Gary Glitter fan. He did have some influence of their sound just a little bit. Shame that is tainted forever and never be acknowledge today because of Gary's awful deeds.

Let's set aside that other " stuff " . On stage as an entertainer he was amazing. one of the best. Note the crowd after he was done. They chanted CMON CMON and he sang again. He got crowds pumped. He would have gone on to be a historic legend. Why Gary why.
why not set aside the stuff that meant nothing, such as GG's career and popularity, compared to the safety and happiness of eight year old girls ? i don't understand how anyone can stomach his image, voice, or music for three seconds when you know what he has done.
@@allanross611 the reason michael jackson isn't vilified as much as GG is probably because MJ was never convicted of anything. he paid off some families and was acquitted of charges in another case that went to trial. maybe some people have forgotten about his very disturbing behavior, but i haven't. there is way too much evidence of things men just don't do with young boys, but it didn't convince that jury. GG isn't getting screwed because MJ got lucky with a jury of fans. GG is in prison because the law finally caught up to him and he can't run anymore.
Can't believe they cut the mic for "Bang in Gang". Different days.... Wish the band had re-recorded his greatest hits in the studio - these pumped up versions are excellent.

Not that old. This was taken from the music programme called the tube which ran from 1982 to 1987 so at oldest he is only 42. He is 79 now
