I learnt it off another tab, but you can play the same notes by playing the 9th fret of the 3rd string and sliding down to the 6th fret instead, there's less movement up the frets this way and most people won't distinguish the sound difference, they're the same notes!

Hi, I use a Scarlett Solo 3rd generation to connect my bass guitar to my Apple Mac/Garageband. But I do not get the same bass tone when I record my bass.
