Wow, I lived in the area for 10+yrs and though I've been around Lake Galena a gazillion times I never thought to explore any of those trails, thinking that they might not have been long enough to be worth it, but now I'm going to do so next time I'm in the area, thanks!
One of my favorite parks love Bucks county the pooh tree has been there forever.all the trails are great.I have seen wild turkeys all matter of water foul.Deer ect. You found a great park this time BUCKS COUNTY
That bigger stream was the North Branch Neshaminy Creek, Cliff. The smaller (and at times dry) stream that butts into it was the Hardiaken Creek. The Neshaminy was dammed up to form Lake Galena (you were not far!) over 50 years ago. This is my go-to park to hike and explore locally. Tons of trails, ruins (someone already mentioned the farm ruins- which are so cool), old roads out of the lake and intermittently under the lake. Tons of history here. (You should pick up Stories Behind Peace Valley by Kathryn McKenna - a great 2023 book about the history.) Hope you return!
That place was fantastic! I love Honeysuckle and the flowering dogwood. The pond was great,as was the herons. Im sorry there was no rodadendrian(spelling) or mountain laural but what was there was awesome. Next time do the Twisty Trail. I bet the fall is pretty. If you go then, take me with you😅. I'd love it. Safe travels as always.❤❤❤❤❤❤
You were in my neck of the woods. Peace Valley Park is pretty much my favorite local escape! There's an old springhouse and some ruins from an old farming village hidden there as well. If you ever find yourself in Lower Bucks County again, I would love to join you on a hike/explore.
Omg! So cool to hear you were at peace valley lake galena. My husband proposed to me years ago on the Evergreen trail. He picked that because we both love those trails. The Pooh tree is so cool! It was sad to see how little water there was in the area. Those creek beds are usually running a bit. Thank you for showing some of our neck of Pa. We love you videos
The nature center trails are one of my favorite places on Earth. Looking off the bridge for turtles and fish, mink, all the birds.... The place is magical! Glad you found the Pooh tree 😁
Hahahaha Poo tree 👍 reminds me of a story from yrs ago concerning a tree just like that!!! Was a buddies favorite spot during deer season , he’s gets to it and there’s a guy in it!!! He runs up to him shifting from one leg to the other in a dispart voice urgently asks if he’s almost done while holding his hand to his butt guys no he just got there my bud informs him this is the poo tree everyone uses guy sniffs looks around then gets up and leaves 🤭 this the story how my bud got his favorite hunting spot back 🤗😆
I appreciate it when you do plan identification. Thank you!
You were in my backyard! Enjoy!

There was a MASSIVE old snapper who used to live there near the creek, saw it maybe 10 years ago, hopefully he's (she's?) still there.

The Pooh tree is a 100+ year old Sycamore.
I think an aircraft of some sort per video is obligatory by now hahaha
Surprised you don’t go down to the lake
