Great find and irememberthedays if Arriva trains northern it really was thaf bad missing trains no bus replacements staff not knowing what they were doing
Greater Anglia is the worst train operating company by far, especially the services in the West Anglia Main Line. They prioritise the Stansted Express and Cambridge services over the Hertford East ones. We have old and dirty trains that are 40+ years old with no air conditioning. The replacement trains are late and they are introducing them on other services first, before ours.
What a pleasant thumbnail.
So turns out our TransLink here wasn't the worst back then. Anyway they've really improved over the 18 years.
Ikr,their one of best prob now.
Why am I not surprised about the winner?
18 years later, they're now Northern Rail...no more said.
@@kevinkibble8342 at least the pacers are gone
Not a great deal has changed tbh
The guy who was interviewed on Arriva looks like Ian Foot from Come Fly with Me 😂

6:16 it sounds like he said "shity rail authority". Freudian slip, perhaps?
If any operator is unreliable it’s greater anglia which is overpriced out of shape and even more delayed with they’re new stadler units
