Electric AC is defiantly the way to go as it can be used on the ground with APU and on takeoff. Did you have to upgrade your alternators to support the load along with the deice equipment? They made us do that on our C340. Didn't understand it as can't imaging using AC and Deice at same time, but you know the FAA regs...

Coming soon. Just got busy with work and wanted to mix in a few Baron Pilot videos for those who have been patiently waiting. But the series will continue shortly.
Were you thinking about a different plane? I guess a Lancair IV-P is a way to go. Vision jet speed, flies above weather. Or simply a Lancair 320 and a couple of immersion suits. iphones actually have sat com these days. Or for real efficiency and low running cost, one of the faster LSAs. If they have IFR instruments. Might be 5-10x cheaper to fly than the Baron. No small difference really.
For Florida in the summer, A/C is probably a real need. Fifty pounds isn't that much of a weight penalty, though, considering you don't fly with four people in the airplane. Even if you did, it's only what 40 minutes worth of fuel? Of course, we're all wondering about Kim and what her status is. I was hoping to hear something on that. On the other hand, I'm happy to see anything coming from 'Baron Pilot', so thanks for that, Kristopher. 😁😛😋

I did not upgrade my alternators. I assume that is because I have two. 🤷🏻♂️
@@BaronPilot How many amps does the electric air-conditioner use?
45 amps
Wheres Kim ?
What happened to kim?
a nice Shrike with a/c would be just the ticket
You wouldn’t see me turning that down! 😂
Any updates on Kim's flight training?
Coming soon. Just got busy with work and wanted to mix in a few Baron Pilot videos for those who have been patiently waiting. But the series will continue shortly.
@@BaronPilot curious if you are going to talk about the Analysis Dan Grider did on his channel about Kim’s flight training?
Great to see you again, flying a ‘real airplane’ 😊✌️
What year is your Baron? Did you buy it new?
Were you thinking about a different plane?
I guess a Lancair IV-P is a way to go. Vision jet speed, flies above weather. Or simply a Lancair 320 and a couple of immersion suits. iphones actually have sat com these days.
Or for real efficiency and low running cost, one of the faster LSAs. If they have IFR instruments. Might be 5-10x cheaper to fly than the Baron. No small difference really.
I'm always thinking about a new plane. Just hard to get rid of the Baron when she has been so good to me.
@@BaronPilot I understand :) is she a costly girl at annuals? and are the engines anywhere close to TBO? I assume overhaul is crippling cost.
Air ducts..
