A great father-and-son project, I expect this is something he will always remember and look back as a great time together.

Old Cats....gotta love em. Ran one of these 42 years ago. Night shift. After driving a narrow gauge d4 this was a major move up for me. Loved the video

I see it steered in both directions so it’s good steering clutches are loose. If possible get a calk mark on track rollers so when you move it again you can check to see if they all turn. Most importantly have fun with it!

I see both steering clutches are both free, that’s good. If possible chalk mark track rollers and move a little and then check if they all turn, I’m sure you know how quickly they can develop flat spot. Hopefully the undercarriage is good enough for you to use it some.

I made some paper gaskets and saved paper bags to make gaskets just like you showed on your cat sixty videos!!!!

@@tttco I may have missed the backstory, did you buy it?, is it local to you? If you can’t find carb parts I might have some I could send you, even come up with a complete carb. Have fun and good luck with it.

@@oldamericaniron5767 I did buy it. No real back story. It was available on Facebook. I went and looked at it. About 15 miles from my house. It had not run for years. I took a few days to think about it before deciding on it. Rails are thin…. But I think it will be a good first dozer.
