With opening day for the Yankees just a few days away, it is with much excitement and honor
to announce that Street and Method Man will be performing “Squad Up” on April 1st at Yankees Stadium. The song which is produced by, and also features, Havoc from Mobb Deep has been chosen as the official Yankees team song for 2021.
The record has received an outpour of support and currently hails over 3 million streams on Spotify, 3 million streams on Apple Music, and 3.3 million views on RUclips. With a classic and flawless hip hop beat by Havoc, the three heavy hitters pay homage to Mobb Deep’s Prodigy within their verses. There is a long history between Method Man and Mobb Deep, stretching back to 1995. From Method Man’s appearance on “Exortion” from Mobb Deep’s
