I know what you mean when you say about Disney having that magical feel. I absolutely love universal, it's very cool and immersive but Disney smacks you right in the heart with the feels!
Loved this video! Our holiday revolves around food too! Also WOW that you’re staying at Helios! We’re staying at Stella Nova in September 🎉 and we love Sebastian’s Bistro - one of our absolute favourites! 🥰 we agree. Disney is just somehow better - magical! 🎉

Our trip is a split stay, Universal hotel first for 5 nights and then Disney… I wanted to end with the castle so I hope it works out well. Always interesting to see how other people plan their split stays. Not staying in Helios though so very jealous of your next trip already!
We have done both too, and honestly, still not sure what the best way to do it is! Pros and cons to both I expect, and maybe I was just more excited than usual to get to Disney this trip 🤣 I don’t think you can go wrong with ending at the castle, for years we did the same, and it was admittedly very strange last year not doing that. We are really looking forward to a Helios, think it’s going to be super busy in our allotted day in Epic, but high hopes for the hotel and the view 😍
We have said similar. Helios has a different entrance, so I think we are closer to the Harry Potter land so that might be where we head. It will just be amazing to be in there…although would be good to do at least one thing!!!
Sebastian’s was one of my favourite meals- definitely want to go there again, so many delicious plant based foods. Also love Pop with the skyliner, we ask for a top floor room too as otherwise you hear peo0le walking above you.
I absolutely loved Sebastian’s 😍 Totally agree on the excellent plant based suggestion! Seems lots of people have similar requests at the value resorts, and I totally get why! Sometimes the noise can get a bit much, especially when you just need to sleep after a long day at the parks 🤣

Which section are you staying in at pop?
We were in the 70s section. It was great for the Skyliner 😍
We’re doing universal in April and Disney staying at Pop which we’ve dine in past. Did you uber from universal to Pop? Or rental?
Also we Always!!! Do 4th floor non adjoining room! 🎉🎉
We did a split stay, so only did Universal when staying at Royal Pacific. We have done Ubers from Disney to Universal in the past though.
It was really good! Quiet most of the time…which is very different to adjoining rooms for sure!
