There are some really good places for food nowadays, but our experience is mainly all on property. So the suggestions may be limited depending on where you are staying? Universal area is also very good if you are over there?

We did a split stay, so only did Universal when staying at Royal Pacific. We have done Ubers from Disney to Universal in the past though.

It was really good! Quiet most of the time…which is very different to adjoining rooms for sure!

Sebastian’s was one of my favourite meals- definitely want to go there again, so many delicious plant based foods. Also love Pop with the skyliner, we ask for a top floor room too as otherwise you hear peo0le walking above you.

I absolutely loved Sebastian’s 😍 Totally agree on the excellent plant based suggestion! Seems lots of people have similar requests at the value resorts, and I totally get why! Sometimes the noise can get a bit much, especially when you just need to sleep after a long day at the parks 🤣

We have done both too, and honestly, still not sure what the best way to do it is! Pros and cons to both I expect, and maybe I was just more excited than usual to get to Disney this trip 🤣 I don’t think you can go wrong with ending at the castle, for years we did the same, and it was admittedly very strange last year not doing that. We are really looking forward to a Helios, think it’s going to be super busy in our allotted day in Epic, but high hopes for the hotel and the view 😍

@ oh the view! It’ll be amazing! If we get on 1 ride during our Epic day, I’ll be happy…

We have said similar. Helios has a different entrance, so I think we are closer to the Harry Potter land so that might be where we head. It will just be amazing to be in there…although would be good to do at least one thing!!!

Yes! We sort the hotels and tickets out as soon as we they are available, and then get the flights at 10 months before. Means you have to pay for the flights upfront, but we find it’s cheaper overall than a package through Virgin xx

R thank you. It will be my first time booking everything separate as we are starting off with a Disney cruise so can’t do the package thing with Virgin

ATD is where we do the hotel/ tickets and they have always been great. Once you do it there will be no going back to the packages 😍

We got lucky with the view last year, but once we had it, we really wanted it again 😀 They were happy enough to accommodate so hope you get the same next stay 👍

That sounds a fair compromise for the seat issue 👍 In terms of the hotel, last year we looked at what hotels had express pass, and then decided on price for that trip. This time, we just wanted to stay there again because we loved the view, and the walk was pretty quick.

@ I am looking to book to stay at Universal on our next trip. I am currently torn between Royal Pacific and Portofino Bay. The Boardwalk is our favourite Hotel at WDW, because of its location and there is so much going on there in the evening. It’s just a real shame that Disney doesn’t include any sort of express pass with their deluxe hotel stays.

100% We would only stay deluxe at Universal now simply because of the passes. I think Portifino is more expensive, and I can’t think of any reason to not recommended RP!
