    Well done from Blighty.
I always try and keep the main up to balance the boat. Genoa is always furled in first. It’s always so exciting buying and sailing a boat for the first time.

Hi guys. A new sailing channel. For your first attempts at sailing and making videos are OK, I think you'll get better as time goes.
Looking forward to your next video. Tell us a bit more about your boat
    Regards from the UK

Just found the channel.. me and my family are planning on doing the same thing. The thing that I’m worried about is power so I’ve been looking into lithium batteries they are a bit costly but if they say you’ll get 600 hours you will get that unlike the AMG batteries were you only get half of what’s on it or risk damaging them. So with a good bank and solar panels and a win turbine you shouldn’t need to plug into shore power. There is another boater on RUclips who has just done it and he’s doing his year challenge and with how much power these things kick out. I believe he will do it. Like I said it’s around £1500-£2000 set up but with the cost of electricity these days it should pay for itself in around 10 months

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. We have upgraded our batteries to lithium, it's def worth it in the long run..we will have some info in upcoming videos🤗

too much pressure for the auto helm - see if possible to extend the rudder lever that the auto helm connects too to reduce the pressure on the unit - an extra 1 or 2 inches will make all the difference rather than buying a bigger unit RRAA (retired rear armchair admiral) Yes I did own a a 22 ft trailersailer in sharks Bay WA and did exactly this

Hey guys, avid sailor here. Gotta say, love the hard dodger on your boat. Is is custom or original?

Hi there, the hard dodger is fantastic. It's original. It needs some work but protects us really well from the elements 👍
