The Goodwill outlet is one of my favorite places to find home decor on a budget. If you are trying to decorate your home and don’t want to break the bank, I love how far you can stretch your dollar at the Goodwill outlet.
Another thing I love about it is that something from Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, or West Elm is not going to cost any more than an item laying right next to it from the dollar store.

U can actually "correct" wrapped woven objects like baskets and such by... soaking them..or.. spraying with water!! They will become pliable enough to "reshape" clip in place and dry in the desired shape!!.. E Voila!!... This was an awesome video btw!! ✌️❤️😎👍👍

Before Facebook created FB Marketplace, we used to have local garage sale pages, started by private individuals for the goodness of their hearts. Back then I used to thrift a lot, really enjoyed thrifting. Whatever I would find, I would paint with then newly created chalk paint by Annie Sloan (there was a local shop who carried this brand), and re-sell it on those local garage sale pages. I had many return customers, and customers who would make special orders. Everything primitive country including painted furniture, would sell quick. It was so much fun. Them Marketplace started, and my sales died slowly but surely. I still love thrifting once in a while, but being myself a minimalistic person, I would pick 10 items, but eventually buy one, if any. I miss those days.

My husband and I did something somewhat similar back when we were newly married and Craigslist was the main way of reselling. Like you were saying, sales slowly waned and we moved on to doing other things.

No one is better than you at spotting two items that appear completely unrelated and knowing how they can be combined into something new. And when I saw those 3 fir trees, I thought “ paint those blocks white” so I was delighted you had the same instinct

I worked in a florist before and she would soak baskets 🧺 in hot or warm water and then place a heavy item the shape you want the basket to and let it dry in the sun ☀️! Hope that helps!

If I want to lighten the color of a basket, I spray it with bleach, I’ve found that to be so easy and fast.. and cheap !!

Today is 10/7/23 First time viewer this is the 3rd. Video of urs I've seen U do a Fabulous redo and up cycle. What made me respond to this one. Was, I was glad that u kept that basket/ plant stand with legs as it was, and didn't remove the legs. I love ur Style. Ps. When u show the prices u can barely see 👀 it. Be blessed 🙏🏽🙏🏽💜

You have such a great eye. And an imagination to figure out what to do with things you buy. I wouldn’t think of half of the things you come up with. There’s no way you could buy any of the things you made for the prices you pay. And you can spray pampas grass with hair spray so it doesn’t flake apart. I had some and it works. I have three dogs. So I also have the Little Green Machine. It comes in very handy.

My mom has a Bins near her in Arkansas. We don’t have one near me unfortunately. They don’t even discount our stuff or have colors of the week. It amazes what my!mom finds.

Hi Nyna! You know, I haven’t found specific days or times to be best. It seems to be kind of hit or miss. If I stay long enough I can usually find some good stuff.

I kept wanted to hit thumbs up every craft... oh it hurt my heart you painted the joy beige... My sister is the same way... everything in her house is off white... I love color.... idea... make one room in your home with lots of color... and she how it makes you feel... Reds are supposed to make you feel happy and confident. keep helping us pull out our creative minds...

I needed to replace a floor lamp with a table lamp. Decided to check GoodWill first, and found the perfect lamp! I left the shade with them since it did not match. Walmart had the perfect shade and ended up spending $42.00 for exactly what I wanted!

We dont really hv thrift shops in Europe so its suprising that they are everywhere in the US.
Whats also suprising is there are no window shutters and walls are not made of bricks! Wow!

Wow! You found a treasure trove of great items. This is my first time watching your videos, and I really enjoy your style. For me, there is nothing more boring than seeing someone do a haul without showing you how they will any of the itwms be used and/or upcycled. If I understand correctly, "the bins" is an items last chance before the landfill. So sad to see all the still new stuff, and furnishings headed for the dump. I'm delighted you save what you can, and I sure wish this country would make some better laws regarding waste. All our retailers fill the landfills with new, unopened products from their dumpsters too. It's shameful how much our nation throws out and how little we recycle. Thank you for cheerfully doing your part.

Hi. I live in NB, Canada and sadly there are none around me. BUT, there ARE 3 outlets in Canada: 1. London, ON, 2. Edmonton, AB and 3. Montreal, QC (called Centre de Distribution Renaissance). Hopefully you live or visit these areas and can get a good haul!! 😊
