Thank you both for going off on the Dundalk situation. This is very worrying for the League and Dundalk FC fans deserve every bit of support they can get. Bohs myself.
Cork City were a Premier Division side playing in the first division. The only full time team in the division. It would be very ironic if they were to be replaced in the division by their old rivals Dundalk.
I was very worried when he(ainacough)left us and went to Dundalk thought he knew something I didn't now looks like he jumped from frying pan into fire. To go from setting up a club to leaving in 11 months is very strange. I never spoke to the man or heard anything about him but starting to think the word spoofer would suit him. He talked about bring in loan players from Boston to Kerry and nothing came of it. He maybe a great business man but I very much douth it.
From what I remember, with the 2 million Peak 6 left there still were deductions that had to come out if it so there wasn't anything like 2 mil left in the kitty
@@IrishFootyVlogs wages been paid off apparently, at least it gives a bit of structure for the rest of the season so we can focus on the pitch, as you said it’s not ideal but I suppose it will have to do for now
Goddard has been awful since coming in, he’ll genuinely be the difference between relegation and survival and tbh I’d be giving molloy or cherrie a game before Munro but I wouldn’t be disappointed to see Goddard dropped either way
Dundalk have been spectacularly shite On the pitch this season and deserve to be relegated. I actually posted a comment on this channel after the Malone cup that Dundalk & Drogheda will fight out for the relegation places and that Drogheda would stay up. Anyway! Everyone knew in advance that Ainscough had NO Money to run the club, and there have rumours around town as far back as June that payments had been late. It's an total shit-show. Dundalk fans have been slow to put their hands in their pockets with regard to ground improvements and possible fan ownership. We've sat back and allowed multiple dodgy, unscrupulous owners to waste money on fuck knows what. Surely the FAI have some explaining to do for approving/allowing a grifter like Ainscough ownership of the club in the first instance??
When you sell your soul for success, you ultimately lose, worst ground in the league especially for visiting fans ,,the owners got rid when it was no longer a regular cash cow
Even Cobh Ramblers have better access to their ground than Dundalk. There's only one way into the ground (Oriel Park), and that's down a narrow roadway. The opposite side of the ground is inaccessible. At least to me it was !

He’s no loss to Kerry FC

Potentially
As for the other situation, I’ve not got much to say with that but I think somethings been sorted
Likely someone comes in till end of season not really ideal either

He simply can’t continue

Some great points there. I honestly think Dundalk supporters trusts etc should look at Sligo Rovers and maybe even reach out to them for advice
