Personally, I like the Elite Rayven best. I got into the nerf fandom right before the Rayvenfire came out, but I still held out for an Elite one. I did get one, but it was painted badly. On the other hand, it only cost me two dollars, so it balances out. I'm going to paint it, some time in the future.

Forget the blaster itself...I'd think those self-glowing magazine with their own battery pack would be nice to clone, compared to the blaster that charge the glow-darts in the blaster itself.

Rayvenfire is #1 on my Christmas list. With ultrasonic2's guide, I may attempt to make it brushless, which will be ambitious but possible.
Great vid, Drac. I remember when these first came out. Really a game changer for the N-Strike and N-Strike Elite lineup. I'm not surprised it has lived on for so long with new iterations.
I personally love the OG rayven my brothers had it when they were young and I loved playing with it. My parents did end up throwing it out which absolutely sucks but what can you do. If I could I would take rayvenfire internals and put them into an original rayven with zero hesitation. I’d love to hear anyone else’s opinion

Also I have a question about the firefly I have one I got it for my birthday when I was younger but mine is black and yellow no blue. And I haven’t seen one like it anywhere. If anyone knows anything about that please let me kniw
That's so stupid.... Just upgrade the internals of the n-strike rayven... The only difference between the N-strike and elite (and so on) are the motors and maybe the microswitch. Just get an entirely new rewire with better motors. Stock internals for any flywheel blaster is garbage

i like the rayvenfire. tighter flywheel cage and sick paint job. the only gripe i have with the rayvenfire is how it only has paint on one side

Kohl's has terrible prices for Nerf blasters. The Apollo was like $70 when I went there.

My favorite Rayven memory and Rayven blasters is using my modded one at every war, including today!... It may be lime green inside and repainted but really it is just golden! It also slings so well under the arm with a 25 round drum it is prefect as a primary or secondary!

You mentioned the firefly’s turret lighting up when the switch is toggled, but in reality that isn’t the case- it actually toggles a camera flash inside the top which activated when the blaster is fired.
The elite Rayvens my favorite blaster because it was my first real blaster. I had like n strike Mavericks and barrel breaks but then I got the rayven which really got me into the nerf hobby. And it still is my favorite blaster to this day. And the performance is pretty good. Better than a stock stryfe honestly

I don't have a rayven yet, so I can't say anything about it's performance but I think the Stinger is the coolest looking one
The elite raven is my first and only flywheel blaster. I remember buying it on my birthday in 2013 at Toys r Us and I've used it in many house wars. I still have it to this day and I have it hanging on my wall.
My favorite is the stock Rayvenfire with 10-dart Banana, Mediator barrel, Tactical sight and Tactical Flashlight. Solid gold all day, inside and out with a good capacity, silent strike ability from the Mediator and Operator AF. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Actually getting my first Rayven soon, the green one (Id rather an Elite but versus the newest one with half-done deco, I chose it.) Very excited!
I personally like the elite Ravyn for the purpose of throwing a longstrike cs-6 barrel on there making a super rad bull-pup carbine. i wish, however, to say that i personally dont think the ravenfire paint is a mistake, case in point being the side facing out, the side you see is the visually pleasing side. the bland side is on the inside of the body save if you are left handed and honestly lets face it the only time anyone shows the "inside edge" of the blaster is on a review video.
Drayven, strayven, and mayven. Drayven= demolisher and rayven, mayven= modules ecs 10 and rayven, strayven= Stryfe and a rayven (most common integration for semiauto rayven conversion)

The Rayvenfire, because I'm new and my first modded kick ass nerf gun (not by me, mind you it is commission) was made off of it. Also made to cosplay. Silly sentimental reasons, but still.
Also I still have my old mostly working firefly, which is special as my first real/decent nerf blaster.

I found a rayven at a thrift store for $7.00. It was the original one too! And also, before I found this I found a lightning bow for $2.99 at a goodwill but the rayven really surprised me! Plus the Rayven had the firefly magazine with it! I got it on Monday!

Btw, Rayven is my first flywheel blaster. I got the blue version secondhand for less than 17.5$ with 12 dart mag instead of the stock mag and without the stock battery door.
I started cutting up a green Rayven yesterday. The Rayven is cool, but it can be way cooler. I've started doing some integrating into it, and I'm going to do an insane paint job to finish it off. Not sure what to do with the front though.

the green rayven was one of 3 blasters i got as a kid, the other two being a maverick and a longstrike. sure the green rayven's performance isn't perfect, but i love it and it's been one of my favourite blasters. if i had the money (nerf stuff is more expensive in the uk) then I'd totally pick up a newer rayven and maybe mod the green one :P

According to the nerf wikia, the original Rayven and and the Rayvenfire came out at $30, the n-strike came out at $35, and the Stinger came out at $20. Also, the Demolisher/Rayven combo... Rayvolisher?
I got a rayvenfire and it’s one of my favorite blasters I would recommend it!
The funny thing about the firefly was that you had to take tape and T-Pain to the darts this glow in the dark stuff and I don't believe it had enough tape for all the darts
I literally have resorted to picking up a second hand original Rayven simply because I actually like the blasters design and Just want one in hand
i feel like the strayven integration is also cool for the extra battery compartment, so you can run some cool led's in your paint job.

Just bought the Rayven CS-18 (N-Strike) version on ebay £5, £6 shipping with original mag. It my fav.
For some reason I just had the idea to put a nitefinder plunger tube in the firefly. Would probably have to make a custom plunger rod though but I think it would be dope
I just purchased my first Rayven from Hasbro on Amazon, yes I know that I overpaid, but Khol's was sold out and I wanted one new in a box. When Hasbro starts making half-length darts, they should really make the first blaster a Rayven half-length. You know, like the FN 5.7x28 in the P90.

My brother really liked the Rayven, but could not find one in 2018, so I looked and found one for 38.67 USD at a Kohl’s. He was very happy. I do wonder why Hasbro only sells them through Kohl’s though...

Well my favorite Rayven is the Rayvenfire because I got it today from a family member brand new in a box and is my first flywheel blaster
I want to make a bullpup Strayven, with multiple flywheel cages (Stryfe’s + Rayven’s, maybe more). Still figuring out if it would work.
the n strike elite rayven looks awsome and I think that it has the best ranges
I feel like the Rayvenfire's trigger pull is less stiff than the older Rayvens.
I love the Elite Rayven. It looks better than the other ones in my opinion.

I would really like to know where you can get an Elite Rayven for $20. i looked on ebay and amazon and didnt see it near that cheap. whatchu talkin about drac?
is the firefly really technically a bullpup if its cylinder is right above its trigger? isnt the whole point of a bullpup to have the loading/firing mechanism behind the trigger group?
if i could buy any Rayven for a reasonable price, id probably get the Elite blue honestly. not just because of the complex color scheme; but because the neon yellow doesnt really appeal to me, and im kind of tired of seeing Modulus white everywhere -- even forgiving the one sided paint job on the Rayvenfire. the yellow on the Stinger isnt super appealing to me either. i kind of dislike the industrial feel of the broken "warning" stripe. it looks like caution tape or a loading zone or something. like the blaster you would use on a construction site -- if that were a thing.

its a REAL tough Decision between the Rayven Stinger and the Elite Rayven because the Elite Rayven has a Nice Blend of colors but the Rayven stinger is what the N Strike Rayven Should've and COULD'VE BEEN
I have the firefly with normal N-strile colors (Yellow and gray, the one drac has is the midnight version.) Im still waiting to get a rayven, so I hope it gets re-released or its decently priced somewhere.

I was lucky enough to get a Rayven Stinger and a Demolisher (both in perfect condition, with fresh batteries) off of Facebook marketplace for thirty bucks. I prefer the classic Elite color scheme, but whatevs. The Stinger is rad, and somewhat valuable.

The Rayvenfire is the only thing that I got for Black Friday and it cost about the price of a Modulus Stryfe. Btw, does anyone remember the exclusive “Stryfe CS-18 Mission Kit“. I do. I discovered that’s how I got my beloved BluStryfe.
