Access Bank GMD - Herbert Wigwe discusses the Access-Diamond Bank merger

Access Bank Plc and Diamond Bank Plc last Sunday 16th December ended months of speculations over their future when they finally agreed to merge, signing a Memorandum of Agreement. This move would move Access Bank, the principal partner, from number four to number two or number one in the nation’s banking hierarchy, if the current growth trajectory of Access Bank is maintained.
Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe (born 15 August 1966 in Lagos) is a Nigerian banker and entrepreneur. He is currently CEO and Group managing director of Access Bank plc, one of Nigeria's top five banking institutions, after succeeding his business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhede in January 2014.

When it was diamond it was very reliable.now that you have merged it so messy banking with you. In fact to me the bank should fold up.They pilfer into people's money by the day. Today 26th January 2021part of my monthly pension was taken. I am just a retired teacher and the bank is richer than i am. Pls. REFUND my money.
