Dey didn't vote for him, he got it on plater of gold, what really happens is that the man that have been representing pdp in Senate house was asked to step down for another person and allow another person from another clan to pick the ticket but he refused and that's why people voted against him .

I think Rufai is trying to make it seem as he is giving a balanced view but doesn't well know how to do that correctly without appearing like he is becoming very disrespectful to his guest... He is trying to avoid being marked by the APC... The guest stood and affirms his conviction and drove home his points clearly notwithstanding, and he is very true and that is the position of every right-thinking Edo person. If truly governorship is a conventional job, an Asue Ighodalo and Monday Opebholo are not match, because the gap is too wide.
Honestly, Nigerians should opt for the most highly qualified persons to be at the helm of affairs.

Edo state actually has 3 Power Plants 17:00 :
- 1) Azura Power Plant with a capacity of 461 MW
- 2) Ossiomo Power Plant with a current of 95 MW, upscalable to a total capacity of 550 MW
- 3) Duport Energy Park with a current capacity of 5 MW
They will pretend they don't hear or see it.

Rufai I always respect your comments, what went wrong today? Edo people doesn't want puppy leadership nor godfatherism. Edo nob Lagos that is in person's pocket, if you study APC in Edo state well, that's what oshobaba wants to do with Okpebho in Edo. You can also see what's happening in Rivers now,the Edos doesn't want all d mess. Oshomole tried before in last election and failed. So this is another agenda that will be pushed back by all citizens that loves Democracy.

Thank you for your observation. I thought I was the only one that took notice of his questioning method. I watch much of the political issues from abroad. In fact, I was greatly disappointed in Rufia's handling of the interview .The two others were mature in their presentations.

As a sitting senator, have you ever heard Monday Okpebholo speak, sponsor, or support a motion or bill in the Senate?
Rufai to buy and sell computers is a different ball game to strategic management and leadership. The role of governance in this era in Nigeria goes beyond just waiting and receiving FAAC from Abuja and buying wheelbarrows to be distributed to citizens like we saw recently in Kano. It is more like what Alex Otti is doing in Abia state. Someone who can look beyond FAAC and creatively mobilize and harness the opportunities within his domain to drive growth and development.
Asue Ighodalo is in the same mode as Alex Otti. Someone who has made a mark for himself on a personal level.
Monday Okpebholo is being urged on, and his candidacy is being sponsored by the political hyenas in the state led by Adams Oshiomhole because they know he can be easily manipulated to do their bidding to have unrestrained access to the state's treasury.

Let's set the record straight - the stable power supply in Abia was only achieved during Otti's tenure, after a 20-year wait. Asue Ighodalo played a crucial role in the project's legal team. Furthermore, Abia state still lags behind with a minimum wage of N30,000, while Edo state pays N70,000. Obaseki is leading the way by hiring over 2000 teachers, the federal government's plans to employ just 3500 teachers as today.

I think if every one in Nigeria is selfless and non partisan like Mr Odigie, all state in Nigeria and Nigeria as a whole would not be in a mess we have found ourselves today. At this point I’d like correct that Mr Rufia should be reminded that party politics is the reason why our democracy as a country has failed terribly. I strongly believe that Prince Odigie should be celebrated for taking a stand rather than play party politics with Edo state as this would also help other politicians understand that their loyalty must and should first be to the people (country and state) before party. Lastly I’d add that the electorate consists of both partisan citizens and non partisan citizens hence the focus should be on the candidates (person/personality) and not a party…
