  • Aquariums make your life better, even when they become overgrown! In this video, I wanted to add some new fish to the aquarium, and that's when I realized that the plants I had left to give refuge to baby guppies had taken over the aquarium. In this video, the battle with star grass continues, along with the need to strike a balance between giving fry a place to hide, while allowing enough light to reach the other plants that need it. It's still not the perfect aquascape, but it's getting better. Enjoy!

Hi! I just found your channel from Ben and J's channel. Been a fan of theirs for years! I knew you and Ben shared a love of aquariums, but I didn't know you had a channel. Though I don't have one of my own right now, we had several larger tanks when I was a kid, and I always feel such nostalgia for them. I used to watch my mom's fisb for hours sometimes. I'm very happy to have found your channel! I hope to learn a lot and eventually have my own tank when I have the room for it. 😄

Would the goldfish eat all the stargrass for ya?

The constant clicking of the CarbonDoser was too annoying for me. I hope you have better luck with it.

Looks good, John! Do cherry barbs always retain their color? Or do they fade as they get older? Zebras have been a staple in my tank since I was a kid.

Thanks! I think they retain their color. But these are the first I’ve kept in years!
