Advent Songs is a collection of songs speaking about the Advent message: the promise of the return of the Lord, His return, and eternal life in the earth made new. These songs have been the hope of Christians over centuries and decades.
Recorded with the congregation of the Croydon Seventh-Day Adventist Church in London, these hymn arrangements make use of different musical genres - Classical, gospel, worship music - which makes the experience all the more interesting. All songs are arranged with meaning in mind. The arranger, Ken Burton, feels that this message should fill the believer with a sense of real excitement, anticipation, hope, as well as seriousness as we 'prepare' for a better place.
This is part 1, with the following songs:
    We Have This Hope
    Lift Up The Trumpet
Medley: On Jordan's Stormy Banks/ Shall We Gather At The River (refrain only)/ At The Door (refrain only) [Quartet: Paul Simpson, Peter Burton, Robert Carr, David Billett]
