There is difference between working for money and being slave for someone who controls you .
Not by a lot in terms of exploitation though.
Slavery still happens today. And I mean proper slavery, as in selling people for labor without any reimbursement. It might not happen as much in the open especially in western nations. But in may 3rd world countries it is a common practice, it is just that nobody talks about it.
Inequalities by design. Im not sure if we can correct this problem. The structure itself is the flaw. So trajic. May we all find peace in our lives. Bless the children.
Slavery is way bigger than 50 million. We are debt slaves here in Canada.
Grow up.
Modern Day Slavery is Human Trafficking. This is the same thing Britney Spears went through.
how is Qatar not mentioned 😅
I've never had anyone accurately define what slavery is. I live in America, I have no children. What choice do I have but to work?
You're correct. However, the video is about those under terrible conditions, who are simply unable to enjoy the human liberties we have. Maybe the word, 'Slavery' is subjective, but you can't deny inhumane conditions.
@@derrickmcadoo3804 I also can't deny that virtually every purported slave can get up, and leave their conditions. These people can leave, but there isn't really anywhere much better they can go to.
@@JohnJones-qj8dm You make a great point. The human experience in America is rough, by all standards.
@@JohnJones-qj8dm However, if they can't leave, that's the issue. Hence the word, 'Slavery'.
It happends almost intire arab countries
❤❤❤ how can change it
We are all either slaves to fear or righteousness.
Job with very minimal or almost to none for migrant workers should be part of modern slavery. When a worker asked for rightful raise of payment, they are being threaten for their migration visa to be cancelled. I know many people on this situation where they just work of their migration status.
What is difference between than a job and slavery
Same thing as most people in the USA and around the world live paycheck to paycheck. A small percent live comfortably and a tiny fraction are kings with more money and power than they know what to do with. Most of the time they're surrounded by "Yes Men", and think they're intellectual gods.
What do you think
Deserve a surname
Slavery in US? What is this woman talking about.
you need to get a reality check.
Yep.
Living paycheck to paycheck. Isn't that modern day slavery except you don't get trafficked and beaten? You can quit your job if you want to starve
@@CCP-Dissidentno, not at all. Not one bit . Nope. Also, grow up.
India no 1 in modern day slavery
What lol 😂
India doesn't even cares about africans and this stupid channel , slavery exists in africa , not in india .
I’m from India and I agree with you. All the menial work that people in your country would tire of doing are being shoved onto us. Managers hire minimal staff and employees are being forced/coerced/incentivised to do overtime for absolutely no extra money. This is illegal in India but still happens. All the precious time we could be spending with our families is taken away for nothing. If this is the status of white collar workers, I can imagine how it is for others.
These countries are mentioned here and those are not like the behavior of US and Europe. If you don't like someone's behavior and characters and he said to you, you are colony or you are using as modern slavery that is a big problem.
Slavery is allowed in Islam.
We are all Slaves/Servants of Allah. That is what it means to be Muslim.
That is horrible
That's why almost every Eu countries colonized the whole Africa Continent
@@agahoktayacar5616 now that's not Gods word for them.
@@agahoktayacar5616 lol ottoman Turks did slavery in the Balkan and beyond'
So don't ignore your history Turk.
We all know that Turks have fantasy telling of their history. Where facts are rare and lies are common.
That's why Turks don't recognize the Armenia genocide.
Ha ha. What you guys are doing in deserts 🤣🤣🤣
50million ? Try 7 billion modern day wage slaves
Its history of islam it is halal : proffitt muhhhmadud
America imperialism. Imperial money system.
The main root cause is what we are paid for an hours work!
